Don't know if someones said this BUT Beuxbaton is not supposed to be a only girl school and Durmstrang is not just a boy school. It's just annoying bc they make the schools very stereotypically 'feminine' and 'masculine' 😪
This is very true. I read somewhere that they are supposed to represent two other periods in European History. Beuxbaton represents the Renaissance era and Durmstrang represents the Dark Ages with the one being very rough and the other being very refined. Ironically that would make Hogwarts represent the Medieval period in the middle. For some reason though the films made it more like one was all boys and the other was all girls.
@@leonbrooks2107 the "boys school" in the movies i don't recall if it was said in the movies but they learn the dark arts not how to defend against them
Dont get me wrong, this movie is objectively a good film. However, as someone who as a kid practically learned to read with the books, I could never forget just HOW much they cut out. They had to of course, the book is as massive as Krum's neck, but it just shows the story in a different light sometimes, leaves out details and thats why I could never really rank it high on my list.
Same, I remember being dissapointed when I watched this movie for the first time in cinema because I just had finished the book and it was very fresh to me and was looking forward to see Dobby again, to watch whole Quiditch game, and to meet Winky, Bagman...
I think the book is as massive as Madame Maxime, who is (together with Hagrid) even bigger in the book :) And the first book states that Hagrid's feet are as big as young dolphins.
Actually, I don't really like this book bc it is too long and has too many details, but I don't really love this movie either bc they left out many IMPORTANT information
The Avada Kedavra spell isn’t necessarily the strongest. It just happens to be the killing curse. Spells’ strength are usually determined by how strong the wand and wizard doing the spell are.
The only reason it seems strong is because the effects are permanent. But that’s a cop out. Even the torture curse has to be performed for a very long time to cause permanent damage. It’s powerful yes, but it’s not THAT powerful, otherwise people would be insane after the first blast. That’s never the case. Ever. Think about this - Crabbe and Goyle can perform these curses and they are extremely stupid. Do I think they would be able to cast a patrons if they were good people? No. Even Hermione has a huge amount of trouble with a patronus, especially under pressure. I believe the imperius curse is the most interesting of all three. It requires a huge amount of skill to perform effectively, and only people who have trained can throw it off. Harry, for example.
If you had no idea that Moody was in the chest before seeing this movie, then I'm impressed you guessed that Moody being Crouch Jr was a HUGE twiar in the books bc, like Pettigrew, he was assumed dead. I'm still mad they showed him alive and kicking from the very start.
Just some further information from the books: About the quidditch world cup: Even in the books it is only the finale that happens (so no whole tournament) and it is between Ireland and Bulgaria. Ireland are really good as a team but have a not so good seeker, Bulgaria has the best seeker in the world (Krum) according to many. Ireland are shooting a lot of goals really fast so Krum catches the snitch even when Bulgaria is more than 150 points behind because he knows they can't ever win the game. But in the books there is happening a lot more stuff around the game. Beauxbatons and Durmstrang aren't single gender schools in the books. Many fans are really upset that they are depicted as such in the movies. About the lack of technology in the wizarding world, most of it doesn't work around magic. In the books the winner gets 1000 galleons as prize money. So you risk your life at least not only for the fame ;D The thing Dumbledore pulls out of his head are thoughts and he can store them in the pensive so he can rewatch them unaltered again and again or someone else can watch them alongside him. None of the dragons are killed. I think they are brought back to where they caught them after the tournament. What the movies don't tell is that Fleur is quarter Veela (they are the mascots for Bulgaria at the quidditch world cup and they are described as the most beautiful women who can 'bewitch' men but they can transform into bird like creatures when angry and throw fireballs). So Ron asking her out and having such an extreme reaction when she basically ignores him is mostly to blame on her veelaness. In the books the two indian girls are twins (Padma and Parvati). Parvati is in Gryffindor, Padma in Ravenclaw. So Harry first asks Parvati and Lavender (she will appear in the sixth movie) if they want to go with him and Ron but Lavender is already going with Seamus so Parvati asks her sister. Krum is 18 in the books I think and Hermione is 15 at that point so some say it's creepy but I don't think so and he is pretty shy actually. He is often nearby when Hermione studies in the library and one day asks her to the ball. The spell that causes Harry's parents to come out of Voldemort's wand is priori incantatem. When two wands with the same core (both Harry's and Voldemort's wands have a feather of Fawkes in it) are forced to duel each other the 'shadows' of their last spells are coming out of the wand in reverse order (so the last first and so on). So Voldemort's last spells in reverse order were killing Cedric, the old man (in the books Bertha Jorkins) and then Harry's parents. Aaaand enough rambling from me. I love your reactions and that you enjoy the movies so far. Keep it up :) PS: all sculls have no noses ;D
my favorite moments: 5:49 'his neck is massive' 19:57 'she didn't know about perfume tho' 31:59 'my guy is 12 or 14' that Rita Skeeter reference hahah btw 33:56 you got that so quickly omg IQ lvl 1000-
11:15 She didn't mean it was bothering the spider, she meant that it was bothering Neville. Can't remember if it was explained properly in the films, but the spell he was using on the spider was used to torture Nevilles' parents until they became catatonic (and "Moody / Barty Crouch" was one of the culprits, so that was especially messed up).
Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix is coming out this weekend aswell! Really enjoyed this movie a ton. Absolutely loving everyone's energy in the comments, it's super motivating - if you haven't already make sure you follow my Twitter aswell! @RivalReacts EDIT: A small part at the beginning will be getting muted, but i've added in subtitles for it EDIT 2: The video has been copyrighted for the past few hours now 😬
29:46 THat's Tom RIddle's paternal family. His mother lived long enough after giving birth to him in the Muggle orphanage she collapsed outside (she was a witch but had either stopped using magic or had been drained of her powers through depression after her husband abandoned her when she stopped giving him a love potion) to say that his first name was to be Tom after his father, his middle name was to be Marvolo after her father and that his surname was to be Riddle. When Tom Riddle found out about it he tracked his father Tom Riddle Snr down and killed him and his grandparents, getting rid of any trace that he had any muggle lines - he doesn't respect his mothers memory much, he thinks she was weak for falling in love with a Muggle and for dying the way she did.
Harry actually gave it the Fred and George. Here's a book spoiler reason why. During the world cup, there's another character named Ludo Bagman who Im sad didn't appear in the movies. He made bets with several people at the World Cup. A gambling man basically. Fred and George bet their entire life savings that Ireland would win but Krum would end the match by catching the snitch. Ultimately, this did happen amazingly. However, Ludo tricked and paid the twins in Leprechaun gold. Leprechaun gold, which is what the mascots from Team Ireland gave to the crowds for fun looks just like the real thing and vanishes after a few hours. Naturally Fred and George got cheated and they were upset about that. They had planned to use their life savings for something that happens in the next two books/movies. Ludo Bagman was also an official judge at the tournament too so he was around Hogwarts but he deliberately avoided Fred and George constantly. As it turns out, he was in debt to a lot of people because he gambled way too much. So he had little to no money to settle his debts. So, he thought one great way to save his neck was to make a bet that Harry would be the winner of the tournament. He even went as far as to offer advice, help Harry cheat and even gave him some discreet favortism which Harry refused but he spent the whole year wondering why Ludo liked him so much. After the tournament, Ludo was never seen again because they thought the bet wasnt an honorable one so he went on the run. So when Harry was declared the winner of the Triwizard Tournament, he won the prize money. But of course, he tried to give it away because he didn't feel it was his victory. He tried to give it to Cedric's parents but they politely refused. So, he ended up giving it to Fred and George on the train ride home at the end because he felt bad when he heard the twins had been dealing with that on the side all year during school. But it does play a significant role in the next two films.
@@zuzkas99 I would say you probably wouldn't join the triwizard tournament because of the money, rather to get the fame afterwards. That might be a reason for it not being higher, that way you don't have really poor wizards join it only to get the money.
19:00 because Fleur Delacour is one quarter Veela - species of very beautiful women with silvery blonde hair, and if men get too close to them they kind of loose their heads.
Yus, Veela, Víla in Czech, same pronounciation. I was actually surprised when I saw the English version. Maybe JKR took the word Veela from our language, or maybe the mythology is deeper than that. But one thing is certain. Kodlak Whitemane from Skyrim was definitely taken from Czech language, because Vlkodlak means werewolf here :)
Globet of Fire is a great book, but in the movies they just don't put a lot of epic scenes that happened in the book, but they do add scenes that don't exist and leave some characters a bad impression like Ron, when in movies he makes a fuss over Hermione at the Yule Ball , but in the books they only argue, Hermione doesn't even cry. And the maze in the book is much more epic than in the movie. can´t wait for the Order of the Phoenix reaction bro !
What happened in the graveyard is called Priori Incantatem, or the Reverse Spell, it happens when two wands share the same core, is a charm that forced a wand to show an "echo" of the last spell it had performed, for example, the death of Cedric and Harry's parents, that was before Voldemort just almost die. Love your videos, greetings from Costa Rica
You were actually right about the 4th school thing. In the books it's explained that Mad Eye Moody (actually Barty Crouch Jr.) used some spell on the goblet to add a fourth school and put Harry in that school.
On the train when Harry sees Cho (7:30) your face covered some of the subtitles so it looks like Harry says "I'm not hung", and I laughed like an idiot.
I think that the main actors were roughly the same age as the characters they were playing. And the films were made one every year so they stayed the correct age.
They don't live together, they were just staying at Ron's over the summer. You convinced me to subscribe🤣 came here to see the hundred ppl who can't help but saying how much the movie left out of the book🤣 get over it. LOVE LOVE your reactions, I watched your whole Star Wars series. Excited to see the journey of HP. 👍
To be fair, that book was THICK. There was no way they were going to make everything fit. It made sense for stuff to be cut out if it wasn't crucial to the main plot, spew and all.
i'm subscribed to this channel since september and it's true, I became rich, so you guys should definitely try it :D btw they don't live together, Harry and Hermione just visited Weasley's home because of Quiditch World Cup
so in the books harry ends up giving. his winnings of 1000 galleons which equals around 250,000 US dollars to George and Fred to start their dream joke business.also Ireland won the World Cup. And you are correct I always thought it was weird how Krum (18) took Hermione (14) as his date. Like that's a lil sus. hope that clears home stuff up :)
Hermione is a few months older than Harry, so when she met Krum she was already 15, but I always thought Krum was 17 (I was gonna say that if he was 17 it wouldn't be illegal, but wizards become of age at 17 so now I have questions)
Yes krum is 18 also I think hermione is actually younger then Harry. From what I remeber her birthday is septmeber which makes her a Virgo and Harry is in august and he’s a Leo. I could be totally wrong
Nvm you are correct she’s actually a great deal of months older. She’s september 1979 and he’s July 1980. Which seems weird lol but that’s what is on google
@@oliviarivera3680 yes, her birthday is September but for them to be in the same year she has to be older, so Harry turns 14 in august and in september Hermione is 15
Someone FINALLY left in "Oh my God! I've killed Harry Potter!" I've watched a lot of reaction videos and haven't yet seen someone react to that on YT. So glad you did. That has to be one of my favourite lines.
the Twins Fred and George, are 16. For the tournament, only seniors, aprox. 17 years old, can participate. remember, all the students start in 1st grade with 11 year old.
26:42 It's the dark mark, Voldemort's symbol. It's burned personally by Voldemort into the arms of each of his followers, it becoming clearer means he's coming back. When it burns on your arm it means he's summoning you to apparate to his side immediately.
These movies were actually filmed every year for the whole year, non-stop. So main actors were also 14-15 years old, just like their characters. Only during 6th -7th movies they were older than actual characters. P.S.: Krum is actually a nice guy, he's just introverted 🥺
The fact that more people are realizing that this is one of the top best ones and not a mixed emotion one is refreshing to me because everyone dismisses this as the weakling because it's directed by one director and One controller that should be praised
Dope reactions man. Love it. So the people who showed up when harry was fighting Voldemort were the old man who is killed in the beginning of the movie, Cedric, and Harry's Parents. They show up because Harry and Voldemort share twin wands ( same core: Dumbledore's Pheonix feathers). If you force twin wands to duel, something called priori incantartum happens. Basically the wands regurgitate the last spells cast, this being Avada Kedavra performed on the old man, Cedric, and Harry's parents. And the reason I think Harry is able to fight off Voldemort is because Voldy had JUST been given his body back.
In the books Beauxbatons academy is a normal school, not a girls only school. Their uniforms were made a French fashion stylist, Christian Lacroix. Fleur is played by a French actress by the name of Clemence Poesy. Durmstrang Institute also learns Dark Arts, not simply learns defense against Dark Arts. As of now, you must have heard of Gellert Grindelwald in the last two movies, he comes from Durmstrang Institute and even there he was considered as evil.... Let that sink in for later. Oh, in the book, there is a cash prize for the Tournament as well, as a matter of fact, Harry gives his earnings to the Weasley twins so they can mount their joke shop two years later, they have been working on it for years. The Pensieve is very useful indeed, you extract memories and watch them from an unbiaised perspective to analyse them in more detail. The Maze, in the book is set inside the Quidditch Pitch, it is way smaller but much more interesting in terms of things to do in it. Ironic, had Harry taken the cup alone, Cedric would still be alive but also, nobody would have believed Harry about Voldemort's return.
Another great reaction, I repeat what I said for the last video, your reactions are just on point! Cannot wait for Order of the Phoenix. Personally, (this is my opinion) the Order of the Phoenix is the most frustrating one, not because of the writing, or anything, but because the main intention of the fifth chapter was to feel the frustration Harry feels, and I personally believe David Yates captured this frustrating feeling. But once again, that's personal opinion.
10:50 Fun fact: this is a real insect. It's a tailless whip scorpion. Freaked me out when I realised it wasn't a creation for the film. Also, no one ever mentions the age gap between Hermione and Krum! He's 18 and she's 14...
I don’t know if anyone in the comments told you, but in the book Ron’s dad got tickets to the World Cup from a friend at work Ludo Baggman. They are actually sitting in the Minister’s box along with the Malfoys. There is more to the scene, but I’m not writing a Hermione lengthed essay.
lol your guess around 17:50 that hermoine would go to the ball with neville was actually pretty close, neville asked her in the books right before ron did, but shed already been asked by krum
They flesh out Krum a little more in the book. He’s awkward and he’s not on a broom and was tall and thin, round shouldered and pigeon toed or duck-footed. He spent a lot of time in the library and developed a little friendship with her because of all the time she also spent in the library. He plays a larger roll (not too big) in the grand scheme of things. It seems super random in the movie but it makes more sense in the book!
I dont know if you are reading the books but... fun fact: Durmstrang is the school that Gellert Grindelwald went to. Who is he? Dumbledore's best friend when they were teens. And he eventually would be his greatest enemy. Difference between him and Voldemort? Grindelwald was best friends and the greatest foe Dumbledore fought. For Voldemort, Dumbledore is the only wizard that Voldemort ever feared. Dumbledore is the one who imprisoned his old friend because Grindelwald was a radical who had anti-muggle ideals. He's an important character in the last couple of films/books. But remember the name. Especially if you plan to watch Fantastic Beasts
The part I hated that they cut out was before the last tournament, when Krum wanted to talk with Harry about Hermione (he was jealous lol) but ended up praising him about his flying against the dragon, which was huge coming from a professional Quidditch player. The fact that he just wanted to be friends echoed what Hermione said about Triwizard enforcing “international magical cooperation” or whatever, it was nice.
Favorite in the series.... SUB TO THIS MAN !!! Had to edit lmao.... im crying.... "Since we didn't see Krum's performance we should assume that he killed his dragon with his bare hands".... literally dying hahahahahaha
About Snape (no spoilers) : what the movie didn't really explain enough compared to the book is that Snape was indeed a death-eater during the first war, but turned on Voldie before the end (we don't know yet why), went to Dumbledore, and became a double (actually triple) agent for Dumbledore and the light side. At the end of book 4, it is clear that with Voldie's return, Dumbledore asks Snape to resume his role as a spy (and though Snape wasn't at the graveyard when Voldie came back to life, he returned to Voldie a couple of hours later, on Dumbledore's orders, and pretended he hadn't come back to Voldie straight away because he had to "maintain his cover at Hogwarts", as Voldie still thinks that Snape is his dedicated spy within Hogwarts). Of course there are many many many more layers to the Snape storyline, but the rest is spoilers for future movies/books. This is all we know as of book 4. Likewise, they won't really get into it in movie 5, but in book 5 it is clear that he is spying on Voldie throughout the school year. So tldr, what we know as of book 4 : Snape is a spy for the good guys. hope it clarifies stuff.
Another thing the director during the first task vs the dragon had Harry be chased around the grounds by the dragon but in the book if that happened the task would be put to a stop he just dodged and swooped down and grabbed the golden egg
This film was released when the actor playing harry was 15 so he was like 14-15 when filming😂 i think the same is for hermiona but i think ron and deacos actors are a couple years older
Chamber of Secrets - This movie has a basilisk? This is the best movie so far. Prisoner of Azkaban - This movie has time travel? This is the best movie so far. Goblet of Fire - Krum has a huge neck? This is the best movie so far.
Ok, Krum doesn't really say much of anything in the movie, but he's actually a sweetheart in the book. Yeah, he's a bit older than Hermione, so maybe that's not so great, but he's a decent guy.
So many people dismiss or dislike this film. In my opinion it has some of the best scenes and moments in the entire series - for example, when mcGonagall has to teach them to dance and the Weasley twins mock Ron, and, of course, that final graveyard scene and the subsequent return, which shows just how eery and sickening celebratory music can sound, when played at the wrong moment. Also, Ralph Fiennes - the man is awesome.
Hi there! It's understandable that you'll be confused, especially at the beginning! This is the first Harry Potter film that basically diverges a lot from the books- not as much as Half-Blood Prince though! But if you want some explanations, here are some (not really spoilers since you've already watched the movie. But 1) basically Harry intimidates his relatives (via threats of Sirius) enough to allow him to stay with Ron and his family- who has Hermione already joining them- so they can watch the finals of the Quidditch World Cup. It's Ireland versus Bulgaria- and the thing is, Ireland won- but KRUM caught the Snitch! So that actually renders Oliver Wood's line in the first film useless- about how even if you score a 150 points in one go and end the game, it's still possible for the other team's chasers to win by scoring Quaffle points (10 points for each goal). I think that's a reason why they cut it- other than the fact that the match was absolutely EPIC if you read it. Sorry, but you'll just have to read the book. 2)In the film, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang are portrayed as single-sex schools. But in the books, they're co-ed. There are boys in Beauxbatons and girls in Durmstrang too (the magical schools take students from more than one country, so there has to be somewhere for French boys to go to school!). 3) Viktor Krum actually looks different in the book. He's not described as handsome, forceful, charismatic and intimidating, yes, but he's definitely clever- 'Moody' never said his head was filled with sawdust, either. 4) There IS a cash prize- Harry gets a thousand gold Galleons at the end of the book- but he gives it to Fred and George so they could start their joke shop. It was awesome. 5) I died of laughter when you said that Hagrid and Madame Maxime's kids would be massive! In the book, RON said that any baby of theirs would weigh 'about a ton'! Coincidence much? 6) Fake Moody had just come back from putting the trophy in the maze. But unknown to everyone, he had turned it into a portkey. 7) Both Harry and Voldemort's wands have phoenix feather cores- incidentally they came from the same phoenix (Fawkes from Chamber of Secrets). This makes them brother wands. So they would not harm one another. Instead, there was a reverse spell effect, meaning that one wand will force the other to reverse all the spells it had cast. Harry's wand made Voldemort's conjure reflections (not actually bringing them back to life) of Voldemort's wand's last victims. These included his parents. Oh- and Dumbledore was supposed to ask Harry CALMLY on whether or not he put his name in the Goblet of Fire.
You've probably been told this, but the reason those ghosts appeared in Harry's duel with Voldimort is because in the world of Harry Potter, when two wands with cores from the same creature duel each other, the losing wand is forced to reveal it's most recently cast spells in reverse order, and in Volimort's case it just so happened to be the last four people he used the killing curse on, which was Cedric, that old caretaker, and both of Harry's parents. Thus, when Voldimort was losing that duel, their ghosts appeared.
in the books the foreign schools weren't all boys & all girls they had BOTH like hogwarts ALSO in the books there was another line in the mermaid's song (after that the prospects black too late it's gone it won't come back, which implies the hostages would be left to drown) & in the books the maze had multiple magical creatures
so the reason harry kept going back to the dursleys was because the protection that lily's sacrifice cast on harry due to which voldy couldnt touch him, which is y quirrell died, that protection would work till the time he's 17 and lives with his blood relative, and that would even protect the dursleys from voldy and his gang, but here when he used harry's blood to bring voldy back, that is why he can touch harry right not without dying, but he still cant kill harry
A little bit more info about Avada Kedavra. It's a killing curse, but it's not the most powerful in terms of "big boom" or something. It's the "scariest" spell. However, it DOES require a powerful wizard + pure desire and determination to kill. Like Moody explained, even if all students in class would point their wands at him and in unison cast Avada, nothing would happen to him. In general, just because you know the spell and possess a wand, doesn't mean you will be able to actually cast it properly. P.S.: it's a cool movie, but as a book reader I absolutely hate just how much they cut out. This, 6th and 7th movies are all lacking so much from the books.
Priori Incantatem - when two wand connect that share a core from the same source. Both Harry and Voldemort have a Phoenix feather wand core that came from Fawkes. The spell reveals the spirits of those who's life the wands had taken. Nothing came from Harry's wand because he hasn't killed anyone and for Voldemort the spirits appeared in order starting from his most recent kill.
Concerning the start of the movie... Harry leaves the Dursleys a couple of weeks earlier in some of the books to spend time with the Weasleys (or because he has to flee from there like in the previous movies 😅) right before the next school year begins, and this time Hermione too because of the Quidditch Worldcup The Irish were actually that good that they‘d beaten Bulgaria although Krum got the snitch for Bulgaria pretty fast, so they outplayed them by over 15 goals! In the books, Fred & George made a bet with a former professional player and they were exactly predicting that result 😋 And that match was the finale, a pretty short one apparently 😅
what Dumbledore took out of his head is a memory... He put it in a pensive .... leaving him a chance to conserve and to re see it again at a later date with a clear mind ... You will see that more in the other movies
"Who's paying for this?" (the visit to the Quidditch World Cup) The Head of Magical Sports at the Ministry of Magic got all the tickets for Mr Weasley, since Mr Weasley helped him out once. In the book they even sat in the top box! And he borrowed tent from a mate at work. And in the book Dobby, now working at Hogwarts, provided Harry with both the idea and the actual Gillyweed.
One of my favorite things is calling Harry, Harold 😂 in 20 years since i started reading the books and watching reactions you're the first person I've came across who uses that name 😂
actually there was money for winning the triwizard tournament 1000 galleons so BASICALLY $5000 he tried to give it to cedrics family they said absolutely not so he gave the money to the twins fred & george to fund their upcoming joke shop
during harry's and voldemort's fight the people/ghosts that came were the ones who were last killed with voldemort's wand, so the old muggle from the beginning of the movie as well as harry's parents. i find it interesting how often people who loved the books were rather disappointed in this movie, but people who don't know the books love it xD the books get quite long so there are so many things that got cut out which lead to many fans missing certain scenes or plot lines in the movies

In the books the winner gets 1000 galleons as prize money. So you risk your life at least not only for the fame ;D
The thing Dumbledore pulls out of his head are thoughts and he can store them in the pensive so he can rewatch them unaltered again and again or someone else can watch them alongside him.
Keep it up :)
PS: all sculls have no noses ;D
my favorite moments:
5:49 'his neck is massive'
19:57 'she didn't know about perfume tho'
31:59 'my guy is 12 or 14' that Rita Skeeter reference hahah
btw 33:56 you got that so quickly omg IQ lvl 1000-
Also he said Cedric will die as soon as the goblet chose him :)
HOW IS THIS MAN NOT USED TO HEARING THAT HE'S HANDSOME? honestly one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen
@RivalReacts
EDIT: A small part at the beginning will be getting muted, but i've added in subtitles for it
EDIT 2: The video has been copyrighted for the past few hours now 😬
And Order of the Phoenix may just be my favourite.
Every time Neville thinks he's killed Harry I imagine Voldemort's voice saying "well done, Neville..."
i believe the prize in the book was 1k galleons and glory... still too little as it's deathly dangerous ... but there was some money as well
I believe 1k Galleons is a lot
@@AFake_Human i mean it is, but i probs wouldn't be willing to die for it or be badly hurt for it
Harry actually gave it the Fred and George.
1K galleons is about 10K dollars
19:00 because Fleur Delacour is one quarter Veela - species of very beautiful women with silvery blonde hair, and if men get too close to them they kind of loose their heads.
Yus, Veela, Víla in Czech, same pronounciation. I was actually surprised when I saw the English version. Maybe JKR took the word Veela from our language, or maybe the mythology is deeper than that. But one thing is certain. Kodlak Whitemane from Skyrim was definitely taken from Czech language, because Vlkodlak means werewolf here :)
“He got avada’d in his kedavra “ ... bro that comment alone just got you a sub😂😂
"he looks like he eats glass in the morning.... he drinks oil, idk" i'm dead
4:54 “Does Harry know he’s paying for this?” Had me 💀
Globet of Fire is a great book, but in the movies they just don't put a lot of epic scenes that happened in the book, but they do add scenes that don't exist and leave some characters a bad impression like Ron, when in movies he makes a fuss over Hermione at the Yule Ball , but in the books they only argue, Hermione doesn't even cry. And the maze in the book is much more epic than in the movie.
can´t wait for the Order of the Phoenix reaction bro !
Half blood Prince the best book in the series yet the WORST movie by Far
@@igorthadeu6094 bro i think exactly the same, it's my favourite book
Order of The Phoenix movie is better than the book, change my mind.
@@nathaniel04 for me no, they change things too much and spoil the ministry scene and the dumbledore vs voldemort fight
Agree with everything except with GOF being a great book, it’s my least favorite, but you do make very good points
Appreciate it, thanks!
You were actually right about the 4th school thing. In the books it's explained that Mad Eye Moody (actually Barty Crouch Jr.) used some spell on the goblet to add a fourth school and put Harry in that school.
Crouch Jr. really is finessing the whole damn thing
Along with the unwilling help of his Imperioused (The spell that controls prople)
Idk how I found this man but he is so cute
This comment section is 10/10 the best 😭
On the train when Harry sees Cho (7:30) your face covered some of the subtitles so it looks like Harry says "I'm not hung", and I laughed like an idiot.
😂😂😂
"oh, no! I'm not hung" 😂😂😂
Thanks! Can't wait to get more of the movies uploaded!
This is one of my favorite books in the series but they just leave so much out of the movie
Half blood Prince the best book in the series yet the WORST movie by Far.
To be fair, that book was THICK. There was no way they were going to make everything fit. It made sense for stuff to be cut out if it wasn't crucial to the main plot, spew and all.
@@angeldesaray1834 spew was the best thing in all of the books tho, “it’s S-P-E-W!”
Yes. Goblet of Fire is my favourite book of the series... But the movie... Not so much.
There is so much missing it’s enough to turn an Elf to drink 🤭😂
i'm subscribed to this channel since september and it's true, I became rich, so you guys should definitely try it :D
btw they don't live together, Harry and Hermione just visited Weasley's home because of Quiditch World Cup
LOOK! This is the actual proof! 😂
& thanks lol, i was really confused still
so in the books harry ends up giving. his winnings of 1000 galleons which equals around 250,000 US dollars to George and Fred to start their dream joke business.also Ireland won the World Cup. And you are correct I always thought it was weird how Krum (18) took Hermione (14) as his date. Like that's a lil sus. hope that clears home stuff up :)
Haha thankyou, and yes, that whole situation will forever be sus to me 😂
Hermione is a few months older than Harry, so when she met Krum she was already 15, but I always thought Krum was 17 (I was gonna say that if he was 17 it wouldn't be illegal, but wizards become of age at 17 so now I have questions)
I frickin love that you always call him Harold lmao, can't wait to see more HP reactions, you're awesome!
12:00 The funny thing is, they actually were 14 when filming this. ;P
These movies were actually filmed every year for the whole year, non-stop. So main actors were also 14-15 years old, just like their characters. Only during 6th -7th movies they were older than actual characters.
P.S.: Krum is actually a nice guy, he's just introverted 🥺
To be precise, only Emma's age was the same as Hermione's - 15 - at the time of filming. Daniel was 16, Rupert - 17 and Tom - 18.
I love your sense of humor!!😂
Haha thankyou!
Durmstrang and Beauxbatons are mixed schools :) but in movie they don't specify
Harry is able to fight off Voldemort because of their wands - they are twin wands, as you mentioned, so they can't go against each other.
RR every other sentence, "yo Krum gonna win, Krum has a big neck, Krum......"
You got a haircut for the movie where no one gets a haircut 😂♥️
28:35 'he krummed her. krummufied, krummofiction'
Bruh this speed is just awsome mate love it just getting the vids out in no time
Another great reaction, I repeat what I said for the last video, your reactions are just on point!
Thanks! And Order of the Phoenix got me sad to be honest, it's coming this weekend! I think Saturday - if not, it'll be up Sunday/Monday
I agree. I have seen all of the movies, and this is my favorite movie and book.
In case you didn’t hear, Madeye was in the maze before the trial because he was the one who had to set up the Tri-wizard cup
Rob is one of the reasons that this is my favorite Harry Potter movie.
10:50 Fun fact: this is a real insect. It's a tailless whip scorpion. Freaked me out when I realised it wasn't a creation for the film.
Also, no one ever mentions the age gap between Hermione and Krum! He's 18 and she's 14...
Fr why is so overlooked 😭
I don’t know if anyone in the comments told you, but in the book Ron’s dad got tickets to the World Cup from a friend at work Ludo Baggman. They are actually sitting in the Minister’s box along with the Malfoys. There is more to the scene, but I’m not writing a Hermione lengthed essay.
lol your guess around 17:50 that hermoine would go to the ball with neville was actually pretty close, neville asked her in the books right before ron did, but shed already been asked by krum
Moody came out of the maze because he enchanted and place the cup in the maze. He made it into a port key.
"He looks like Genghis Khan."
I'm dying 😂😂😂
Not you simping for Krum as we're all simping for you 🤣🤣
I dont know if you are reading the books but... fun fact:
Durmstrang is the school that Gellert Grindelwald went to.
Using the unforgivable curses on a spider - "choose a dog!" 😳😳😳
The actors are all around the same age and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is actually the same age as Harry so the age he’s supposed. To be! :)
This film was released when the actor playing harry was 15 so he was like 14-15 when filming😂 i think the same is for hermiona but i think ron and deacos actors are a couple years older
This is my fave HP movie too! PS Didn't expect this reaction to be a simp-session for Krum but I'm here for it :)
The spider Mooney cursed was a tailless whipscorpion and they're precious little creatures
Chamber of Secrets - This movie has a basilisk? This is the best movie so far.
Prisoner of Azkaban - This movie has time travel? This is the best movie so far.
Goblet of Fire - Krum has a huge neck? This is the best movie so far.
Your reaction to the boat "sinking" had me dying 🤣🤣
Fresh cut bro, keep that self esteem going. Ready for a good one here
Ok, Krum doesn't really say much of anything in the movie, but he's actually a sweetheart in the book.
Thus, when Voldimort was losing that duel, their ghosts appeared.
in the books the foreign schools weren't all boys & all girls they had BOTH like hogwarts ALSO in the books there was another line in the mermaid's song (after that the prospects black too late it's gone it won't come back, which implies the hostages would be left to drown) & in the books the maze had multiple magical creatures
so the reason harry kept going back to the dursleys was because the protection that lily's sacrifice cast on harry due to which voldy couldnt touch him, which is y quirrell died, that protection would work till the time he's 17 and lives with his blood relative, and that would even protect the dursleys from voldy and his gang, but here when he used harry's blood to bring voldy back, that is why he can touch harry right not without dying, but he still cant kill harry
cool, this video came out on my birthday
Happy belated 🥳
Please take the sorting hat quiz after you finish your reactions! I’m interested in what house you’d be in 🙃
We've got to! Also doing the Patronus test 👀
Our man enjoys the attention from the laddies. He’s a Gryffindor 🤣
In the books the contestants become better friends
Imagine Griffyindor playing at the worlds cup :D Its just a little school team
Priori Incantatem - when two wand connect that share a core from the same source. Both Harry and Voldemort have a Phoenix feather wand core that came from Fawkes. The spell reveals the spirits of those who's life the wands had taken. Nothing came from Harry's wand because he hasn't killed anyone and for Voldemort the spirits appeared in order starting from his most recent kill.
that is my second best movie of the serie ..... the last one is my favorite one .... I'm pretty sure you will LOVE it too
Concerning the start of the movie... Harry leaves the Dursleys a couple of weeks earlier in some of the books to spend time with the Weasleys (or because he has to flee from there like in the previous movies 😅) right before the next school year begins, and this time Hermione too because of the Quidditch Worldcup
The Irish were actually that good that they‘d beaten Bulgaria although Krum got the snitch for Bulgaria pretty fast, so they outplayed them by over 15 goals!
In the books, Fred & George made a bet with a former professional player and they were exactly predicting that result 😋
And that match was the finale, a pretty short one apparently 😅
Lol in the book the tournament actually has a substantial cash prize, and it's a minor subplot.
A minor subplot that sets up the weasley twins with the joke shop in book 6
RR: 'I support Bulgaria because Krum has a huge neck'. Lol
what Dumbledore took out of his head is a memory... He put it in a pensive .... leaving him a chance to conserve and to re see it again at a later date with a clear mind ... You will see that more in the other movies
I’m subscribed and I love your videos ✊🏻
Thanks!!
In the book, Dobby got the Gillyweed for Harry

One of my favorite things is calling Harry, Harold 😂 in 20 years since i started reading the books and watching reactions you're the first person I've came across who uses that name 😂
Well technically in the very first book uncle vernon wonders if harry is actually called harvey or harold 🤣
@@GTARanger1992 omg i didn't even click that 😂 its just so natural to hear harry potter that hearing Harold is so foreign to me lol
the music before the maze gives me goosebumps
If you think the Durmstrang Institute where Krum goes, that their ship was sunken down into the water is called a submarine ship.
the actors for Ron, Harry, and Hermione were all around 14-15 when doing this movie
actually there was money for winning the triwizard tournament 1000 galleons so BASICALLY $5000 he tried to give it to cedrics family they said absolutely not so he gave the money to the twins fred & george to fund their upcoming joke shop
during harry's and voldemort's fight the people/ghosts that came were the ones who were last killed with voldemort's wand, so the old muggle from the beginning of the movie as well as harry's parents.
i find it interesting how often people who loved the books were rather disappointed in this movie, but people who don't know the books love it xD the books get quite long so there are so many things that got cut out which lead to many fans missing certain scenes or plot lines in the movies
4:54 I literally cannot!! Poor Harry!
He DID report the body though 😂
