Your deep love for Nature shines through - and your empathy for others flows from that. It's poetic and practical, at the same time! This rare quality will make you a very fine writer, Georgie.
My prayer and sympathy at this tragic time Unfortunately it is so common a young people don't know what they have to give to the world It happened with a close friend of myself and a family member but I always remember a person coming into the funeral wake and the wife of the deceased said I don't know why he killed him self the man suffered deep depression for years he said no one kills them self or take their own life that's unnatural in deep depression you want a way out any way out sometimes the take a wrong opinion so talk don't look for those trying to kill them self look for those that want out May their poor souls rest in Gods peace 🕊
A beautiful video tour for solstice thank you. So very sorry for your loss. Tragic and heartbreaking. To be able to spend time quietly making funeral arrangements with family will be difficult but healing. Thinking of you,my condolences to those involved. 😢💔
So sorry for the loss of your family friend. I think making these bouquets for the funeral together will be healing in some way. Wishing you and your family strength and thank you for the video 🙏❤️🌹
So sorry for your friends tremendous loss. My hole in my heart is still fresh. I know their pain, their agony and their grief. I am still facing those emotions today even though it's been a little over a year since I lost my son and his girlfriend to a homicide/ suicide. I know exactly how they feel...and how numbing at times you get. My heart is breaking for your friends 😢😢😢. It's a horrible tragedy and it's hard to cope. I pray God will comfort them in their time of grief. He too knows what it's like to lose a child...I pray for the Lord Jesus Christ to carry them through this difficult time. God bless them and you Georgie.
So very sorry for the loss... 🙏 Keeping you all in my prayers 💙 absolutely needed this walk about with you , talking about flowers , seeing all the beauty ... My great hope is to one day have your sort of wisdom , the kind only experience and time gives💐
Thank you for another great video but so sorry to hear of the loss of your friends daughter/sister 😢 We often wear 'the mask' and suffer in silence, often due to fear of what people think. However, as I get older, I'm trying to be more open about my autism and mental health struggles. I notice you mention your 'beloved Wollerton Old Hall'. Have you ever been? I know it very well (I do the topiary there, though cutting back a little this year because of my bad back and Andy is Gardener in charge). I see you have lots of yellow rattle with seeds ripening 👍in your beautiful meadows 😊 It made me chuckle to hear you say don't any one mention about the nights...... my sentiments exactly 😊 Had chance to watch this whilst having lunch because we finally have a bit of rain 😊 Many thanks again. Ps I still can't work out how to buy you a coffee?
Thank you for another enjoyable video 🌱 I especially liked how you talked about and focused on the butterflies, bees, the lady beetle larvae etc. I am still amazed and fascinated by the world and intelligence of insects 🐞🐝🦋 and birds and the natural world in general. Look forward to your next video.
@@theflowerfarmer I just want to add, that today (I live in the Southern Hemisphere) I came across and bought a book called, The Insect Crisis by Oliver Milman, as a result of your video. I’ve read the first eight pages. So far it’s been a fascinating (and concerning) read. I learned that it’s the fly that pollinates the cocoa plant, without flies we’d have no chocolate. Anyway, thought I’d share my book purchase 🪰🐜🕷🐞
@@theflowerfarmer I have to correct myself. I provided the incorrect information regarding the cocoa plant. It’s actually tiny midges that pollinate the cocoa plant. The book states that flies pollinate tomatoes and blueberries (more so than bees). Anyway, I’ll leave this topic of insects here. It’s thanks to wonderful people like yourself who are growing flowers that are helping keep the insect population alive (and feeding and beautifying the world). 🌱🪴🌳
On your longest day, we are having our shortest (albeit 12 months later!). Funny enough my first experience with aphids en masse was on my queen Anne's lace (same/similar to Ammi majus) 40 odd years ago.
I hope the flowers provided comfort and hope for your friends. Another beautiful video. You went up-side-down on my iPad between 23.00 and 25.00 which was amusing seeing your lovely flowers from a different angle! but didn’t detract at all!
Winter solstice here! You have inspired me to find cut branches and twigs for indoor display, opened my eyes to what I never knew I had. So sorry for your painful loss, our town has a big winter solstice evening to commemorate those events.
We know it was brave to share a close personal tragedy. ✝️ Know that this news fell on our hearts grieving for the family. To invite her Mother and sister to help with her going home flowers will indeed be therapeutic 💔. You are a genius and so kind. We all wish we could silently serve tea and summer sweets to ease their hearts. How brave the family are with the sudden, and the unknown ending of her precious life. Sending all our strength and love to all. Strength and Courage are English genes, we know, but all take good care of one another ✝️
What a lovely walk through your meadows. Thank you for sharing. The lavatera in the polly tunnel is quite amazing. I have two in my garden here in Northern California which perform brilliantly but nothing like yours. Having said that they do flower year round.
@@theflowerfarmerI personally, don't really like roses anymore. Once had them in the garden, growing over a gateway to my veggies and they made such a mess (looked like it had snowed and it all stuck to my veggies) that I threw them out. They had big thorns also. I can't remember I ever bought a bouquet that had them since then either.. .
@@katrienvh4289 haha - lovely thing about buying roses from me is I remove the thorns and they shed on my ground not yours - but I do love the dahlias when they come but I’m not going to harvest them until I get a really good flush x

I've never been to Wolverton Old Hall - one day - the coffee link is in the written bit attached to all my clips - but don't feel any pressure xxx
