While that sounds good in a vacuum, comparing a 2024 Laptop to a 2015 GPU is a silly comparison. I just happened to find that interesting.

With a very very tough decision and almost pitching the legion 7 i went with the g16 with a 4080 32gb ram & 1000gb of storage. It’s getting here tomorrow i will update anyone who has questions
Year after year, you keep proving that you are the very best gaming laptop reviewer in the world. Thank you, Jarrod, for your hard work! When you're at CES next month, I suspect you will find that almost all high-end 18" gaming laptops, except maybe for Alienware m18, will have dropped the Mini DisplayPort, which is a pity considering that DisplayPort 2.1 is about to be widely adopted. I realize that their reason for this is that most users have switched to Thunbderolt-compatible displays, but I also suspect that none of them will replace the missing Mini DP port with a third Thunderbolt 5 port. MSI dropped the Mini DP from the Titan 18 HX this year and never replaced it with a 3rd TB5 port. Razer dropped the Mini DP around 2019 and are still stuck at 1 TB port & 1 USB-C port! Can you please ask the major manufacturers whether it is at all possible to bring back the Mini DP in the coming years, or at the very least, have 3 TB5 ports (in addition to keeping the 3 USB-A, 1 HDMI, 1 2.5G Ethernet, & SD card reader)? I mean what's the point of having a large 18" chassis if the ports are not differentiated from the 16" models? If Alienware can do it, why can't Razer & MSI do it, too? I would deeply appreciate it if you could cover this specific point. Thank you.

Best laptop reviewer out there! Thank you.
Would you recommend the hp transcend 14 if it was cheaper than the zephryus g14, i found a deal for $1200 after taxes on a 4060 but didnt want to spend an extra $300 for a little more performance on the zephyrus
zephyrus g14 1199 dollards on bestbuy bro but only 16gb of ram
Same question,man
i got 2024 lenovo legion 5 pro rtx 4070, scored 13246 on time spy and speaker is mid but overall pretty good laptop. ( upgraded from rog zephyrus g15 )
16:44, eh, which previous models had PCIe gen5?
What about Lenovo Thinkbook 16 laptop, with 4060 and i9-14900hx ?
Or the ideapad or the pro Art 16....none of them got GAMING in the title I guess.
great video Jarrod !
The only thing missing is the RTX 4080 tier, i own a MSI GT77 Titan 2023 with the "lower" RTX 4080 and i think at a great deal is interesting and way more cheaper than the 4090 and mini led options but still with everything else good to have a complete package. I know that testing a lower version of high end PC would be nearly mission impossible because it would have to double the test. Only one youtuber "GenTech PC" tested the rtx 4080 spec of the GT77. ( youtube veteran ! )
If you could test such "alternative" Configuration it would be awesome !
for thoses who doesn't want the best GPU but a good Laptop still it would be interesting to fit just the specs of lower specs.
maybe i'm in a niche, but a 3000€ laptop vs 4000 or 5000 + is a difference between buy and not buy in my case !
You've been using the same thumbnail for the best laptops of the year video since 2021
Shhh don't let everyone else know

Hi jarrod, i am confused between rog strix g16 and Legion 5i as both of them have the same price and specs at the moment in Canada . Please suggest which one i should buy. I want to buy it within 2 days. Gonna use mainly for gaming
Why can’t you just check for yourself? He had all the graphs and numbers for you to easily check yourself and choose
@samgoff5289 whenever there is a comparison, price is a factor in the video, and now they have the same price, so which one is best out of two? I am confused in that and want to make sure
Bought the ASUS vivobook pro 15 and I’m happy with that
to me best cpu this year is ryzen ai 9 365, balanced between performance and and power efficiency
27:23 1000~1500usd for a high end laptop? heck, in my country, at this price point I can only get a flimsy plastic 4060 laptop🙄🙄
How about legion pro 5 (4070)
Can someone Suggest me under 2200 best gaming laptop i am very confuse
can you do this next year before black friday sales please? XD

1:04 Your Numbers for 6800m are waay lower compared to other channels on same settings.
There is definately something wrong here, this is inaccurate

I got the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i a few days ago and today on Cyber Monday it dropped to 32% discount, they have a Price match refund policy, trying to get a refund for the £200 difference now.
