Very good video. Some baseline dimensions seem to automatically suppress themselves. Is there a way to get them active again? Thanks.

I have personally not experienced that. I recommend opening a ticket with PTC Tech Support.

Do you have a good way to dimension both the flatten state and formed state of a sheet metal part without the annotations breaking?

I don't understand what you mean by annotations breaking. But are you also trying to use the same annotations for documenting the formed and flattened states? If so, why? Wouldn't you use automatic ordinate dimensioning for the flattened state... if you are even bothering to document the flattened state. If you're not bending the sheetmetal yourself, your dimensions are going to be wrong. Only the sheetmetal manufacturers understand the bend allowances of their machines and their supplied materials.

@@CADPLMGuy We manufacture in house and need to supply the dimension from the edge of the part to the break lines for the manufacturing team. They use these dimensions to program the brake press. Plus they need formed dimensions as a quality check after the brake process. Would like to have all the info in one model/file to maintain. We are just getting started using Creo and MBD so this is all new to us. When i dimension in the flat state or the formed state I have trouble with dimension annotations failing when going from one combination state to another.

Do you have separate annotations for each state?

Yes. I have tried creating the dimensions as just annotations and as an annotation feature. Both have the same effect.
