Thanks man. I’ve been soloing so long it’s pretty much a regular thing for me. I think that was record time for me to setup and break down and get the 30 min interview in a little over an hour though 😎
Fantastic my brother!!! Love love this style of showing your work and talent!! The VO works great! I may do this style in the future if you let me :) I’m the same with not into trying to talk to a camera while I am in the zone trying to film something. This is awesome! Showcasing you at work - I love it! Way to go!! Keep them coming my friend! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻 super proud of you! 💫🔥
If you trying to get a 2 camera look, do you repeat all the questions and do 2 takes? If not, how do you get cuts? Or is it one A roll, new angle and continued conversation?
And you can edit however you want. You make cuts after sentences are ended. There’s a number of ways to make it look seamless. You can reason questions or do a continuous roll.
Cool insight into your solo filmmaking process. For many years of my career, was used to working solo, unless I’m filming a wedding with friends, who have equal experience as me on wedding days. It’s also cool that you found a passion project to take the time to film that you also have a personal connection with! That is special in of itself. Still seeking to do similar with a project of mine, but bills have to be paid so…
Marcus, great video and initiative with your personal project. Keep going! Cheers from Portugal
Such a great insight on solo filmmaking. Keep it coming.
Great work bro
Thanks brotha!! 💯💯💯
Good day Marcus, new subscriber here. I love the breakdown. I missed the camera you were using.

Kudos to you. I'm a solo shooter and recognize how difficult this can be.
