i know they won't be the same, i don't think any band has ever been the same after a departure/kick out.

damn man... sucked to find out this way. really wish they kept that post more vague, I'm not trying to parasocial with any of these guys I just love and respect the music. keep your drama to yourself or actually commit, cause all I'm getting from that is bitterness which kind of sours the listening experience.
The other albums got me through my alcohism & the last 2 years of sobriety. I am very thankful for this band & maybe this album isn't for someone like me but I hope it's therapeutic to others

I’m really glad you like it so much but I don’t hear that at all. The only familiar thing is Ela’s voice. And even that is auto-tuned so heavily now…. Is the old sound in the room with us?

I think people forget Charlie was part of writing this album that’s upcoming so they want to hate on the new music to take sides… but in reality this was going to be their direction with or without Charlie involved. They will be missed dearly, but RKS will still be RKS
ELA the outfits are AMAZING!!! you look absolutely stunning so excited to see what the future holds with Rks. I see a lot of negative comments about the departure with Charlie but I understand that change happens…. Its hard but also necessary for growth. It shows strength when people are able to let go and move forward. I wish all the best to Charlie as well as RKS!!❤

I agree with your sentiment but i don’t think it’s technically correct. If they weren’t hard 1920’s folk bluegrass, I think a lot of the current fans would rightly drop off.
