The duo revive the Garland Jeffries’ song from 1981, when it appeared as a US 45 on Epic and as a track on his album, “Escape Artist”.
Australian TV producer, Lin Buckfield, was a member of the band, “Electric Pandas” in the mid-80s. During this period she released this 45 with James Reyne, formerly of Australian Crawl and about to embark on a successful solo career.
The side was backed by a revival of the Stones’ “Under My Thumb” and reached #44 in Australia.
Charles Fisher went in to produce the debut album by the Australian duo, Savage Garden, in 1997.
