Vail Colorado at The Sonnenalp Hotel

November 2021. My wife and I took our first trip up to Vail, CO. We stayed one week at the Sonnenalp Hotel; another great selection from the Leading Hotels of The World expansive portfolio. We purposely stayed during the ski lodge down season to explore the surroundings and have a more peaceful experience. The hotel was gorgeous. The staff was accommodating, and the surroundings were stunning. The busy season is really from December all the way to the end of March. As you'll see, it looks like a ghost town but that was because of our decision to go when so many of the city's features were closed or in limited staffing. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique experience in a fantastic city. Thanks or watching!
