Still saving lives(chargers) 3 years later. Great video! Thanks
Very helpful - my fan died recently and this is exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Your welcome and thanks for watching.
Great tutorial to repair this charger. You have a radio broadcaster voice. Very pleasant. Sounds good.
Thanks very much.
I can't tonight I have a live stream coming up.
Thanks! Great informative video. The fan in my year old Hota S6 just quit..was wondering where the heck the other 2 screws were,LOL. Hopefully it's the fan itself and not the circuitry that controls it.. kinda sad that after just a year the fan gave up.
Life saver!!! Thanks!
Nice video, how did you discharge the bulk capacitor?
thanks for this!

Thanks for the info. My fan broke too and I couldn't figure out how to open it. Something worth mentioning is that after some time the stock fan might become dislocated on its axis and get caught on the housing holding it in place. This was the case for me, I cut some plastic away and my fan started working again.
Just made my day. I just mounted the fan 180degrees different and all good. Had a terrible mechanical sound
Thanks, and glad it helped
That's exactly what happened to mine just removed some plastic fan housing on shell all good now!
When i first got my charger the fan made a nice air sound. Now its a lil low pitched, kinda rumbly, or sounds kinda like a vibration... worried ima have trouble soon.
I got a dusty house with lots of dog fur, do you think i should open and try to clean it out before i face problems?
Anybody know what the pin connector/adaptor is for the fan? Ordered replacement fan online and it came with a DuPont 2 pin connector
Nice instructions. I'm running into a problem where one side always takes much longer to charge or balance than the other. My left side will take 25 min to charge a 4s 650mha battery the right side will take 3 or 4 times that long. The slowdown comes at the end when the cells are all coming up near the final voltage.
Ya I found that too. Mine finally died a couple months back
@@FPVEvilMunkey Bummer. I'd be interested to know what happened?
Mine is pretty new, but one side doesn't stop charging on it's own. It just keeps charging at a tiny rate for hours.
@@GabrielPass it turns on but the LCD screen just went bad.
can you measure the size of original fan please? i would like to buy noctua fan 40mm x 40mm x 10mm. i want to make sure if this one fit. because your 50mm fan is a little bigger than the original. thank you.
I don't have the original dimensions but 40x40x10 should fit okay.
@@FPVEvilMunkey thank you..
