I think Pete Shelley would approve of this, I think.
Holy fuck, Ive been a Buzzcocks fan since I was 15 (I'm 59 now) and that is absolutely fabulous!
This is a staggeringly brilliant cover to a legendary 70's punk classic!
this is one of the best versions to this song ever wow this is awesome
This is just awesome, I love the energy of the band,
I remember the original.... How did I get here? Who cares? Go for it, nail it and the smile on the face of the drummer!
Still relevant nearly 40 years later and brilliantly interpreted by musicians who were not even born in that period. Good to know that punk is not only a music for males.
Even some teenagers are still listening to Buzzcocks and punk in general. Even some young rappers are influenced by it too. It's a brilliant thing for sure.
Woaw just discovered you, great !
You nailed it Ladies fabulous
Just keeps getting better
I love them ! They recall the 80s . ❤❤❤❤❤
A Very powerfull Cover of the original ! I Like to Listen and of course to watch the Girls ! Greetings from Lüneburg in Germany !

Saw Nancy perform at a pub in Liverpool last night solo, didn't realise it was a Nancy from these......great gig though
Perfect cover. Well done ladies xxx
Wish I can see them alive. I mean, yes, they are super-sexy; but glad there is so much more than just this. Very energetic performance, something you don't see often anymore. They nailed it. Keep rocking.
They now perform under the name of "Nancy and the Dolls."
You may get to see them after Covid
Sorry I'm a little late to this party (like 10 years too late). But, thanks youtube algorithm!! Sometimes you get it right. Normally i hate you toutube, but you assholes got it right here! Love it.
You stir my natural emotions ...

A top version of one of my favourite tunes, in fact I love it so much, I hope you don't mind me playing it on my A Low Life In High Heels With Gwen Ever radio show tomorrow night, I'll plug the upcoming gigs too x
nice one girls, from northern ireland
Girls power ⚡🤘😈🤘⚡
Massa demais
perfect :3
Blimey. That drummer's shit hot!
That was Anna Key, she left the band during the Covid lockdown period, something to do with changing her day job and could no longer tour with them. The new drummer is Violet the Cannibal, who has what I would describe as slightly more aggressive in her style. Connie Rotter has also since departed and replaced by Scarlet Fever, who has a touch of the Wilko Johnsons about her.
Diggle looked 53 when he was 23... The drummer here is shit hot..
💋💋💋💋💋💋
I think I just have
2:08 - don't worry mate.
quality
OK, but this is pop, not punk. Stick to Pistols please. Might as well do Ramones with their 'ooh aah' female harmony vocals that Americans call punk. At least John called them out!
Buzzcocks were one of the earliest fun pop punk bands. Damned were kinda similar attitude wise too. Not all of the old punks were politically aggressive.
