Temple Street is a unique hotspot for nighttime activities in Hong Kong, attracting visitors from all over the world with its lively atmosphere, delicious food, shopping opportunities, and authentic local culture. To inject new vitality into the traditional Temple Street experience, the Hong Kong Tourism Board has launched a six-month-long promotion campaign starting Last Week.
The newly opened Temple Street Night Market Street now features 22 new specialty food stalls and nearly 10 nostalgic snack mobile vendors, with 70% of the businesses operating in or around Temple Street. Visitors can personally explore different eateries in Temple Street to seek out delectable treats. In addition to the addition of local food stalls, the site has also set up 11 glowing "Instagrammable" art installations that incorporate elements of old Hong Kong and Temple Street, showcasing the unique characteristics of Temple Street and generating a sense of novelty to enhance the interest of both tourists and locals visiting the area.
