- In this tutorial I show how to use Blender 3 and my addons JMesh and JSculpt for #sculpting #stylized wood.
I was inspired by the channel @SebastianCavazzoli checkout his videos for Blender and Zbrush, it's really worth it.
If you are interested in by addons, you can get these for free from my github (github.com/jayanam) or you download them from the blender market (blendermarket.com/products/jm..., blendermarket.com/products/js...) to get special support and also support the #Blender devfund.

Hola muchas gracias por la excelente clase.. necesitaba aprender a diseñar maderas para después imprimir en 3D. Un gran saludo desde el sur de Argentina.
Awesome tutorial. Gonna make a good Goblin shield.
Yep, great!
🔥💕👍
3:42 took me forever to realize he said fibers and not something similar to Fireballs
Great you heard it now correctly.
It may be really really basic question but may I ask you something. As sculpting in Blender or Zbrush, the mesh should ALWAYS be a high poly? My plan is to model & sculpt in blender and shading from Substance Painter and move it to Unreal engine to make the whole scene. My concearn is that if I create all meshes with high poly, things will be really heavy. isn't it?
Late answer, but usually you should bake the details on to a low poly mesh with normal maps
Hey I want to ask: you using tablet with pen or just sculpting with mouse?
Are you using a mouse or a pen?
my sculpt brush only points down, pls help
Hi what are your brush settings for scrape brush?
I use default settings but increase the strength a bit
hellow do u have a video that explains this add on, jbake-tools, u make I was wondering if i could use in my workflow but theres not a very detailed description about it. I was looking to see if it acted like quad remesher taking a high poly sculpt and making it low poly whilst retaining a good amount of detail

Why is it so blurry for 1080p? Sorry I'm having difficulty seeing the icons and text.
Really? Looks alright on my side. Perhaps it isnt fully processed yet?
@@JayAnAm Oh I refreshed and fine now. Odd.
@@Jono1982 Alright, yep, happens sometimes when watching right after the upload :-)
Did that Pablo Dobarro leave Blender foundation? Who is taking care of Sculpting dev? Is there anything going on right there lately?
Joe Eagar (who is the creator of dyntopo) is leading the charge on new sculpting features. You might want to check blender devtalk for sculpt module meeting notes
