Treat it as a hobby not as a money making business because more often than not you'll get unrepairable cards with dead cores. Nevertheless, good luck :)
Educational. Just so I understand. Code 43 in memory errors? This totally makes sense for me because I've looked into the game logs and I'm getting memory errors. I'm not getting a hard code 43. My card has been randomly crashing sometimes I'm able to get back to desktop and device manager shows code 43. Real bummer hopefully Gigabyte will RMA card. If they don't do you have a video on how to remove and replace a memory chip?

Do you want to add teh specific of your settings you use to remove the memory chip itself? (pre-heater or not, temperature and air flow)
i do use a preheater to heat the board to about 150c then the rest of the way with my hot air station on 350c

i have a gigabyte 2070 super hdmi ports works but none of the display ports
Some folks are saying that Micron had bad memory memory in 2018. The date code of less then 8Y is to be avoided. Do you know any more details?

Yeah that's the same memory here but i personally didnt have the issues other people talk about. I've replaced like 5 memories on different cards and they all worked again with no issues even after a year. Small sample size so might have been luck or this whole micron thing might have been exaggerated. Too little info to make hard conclusions unfortunately
