I have another request. Could you do a video Joseph Boulogne, Chevalier de Saint Georges? I know you have been doing female composers recently....but do this one pretty plz : )
My request queue is-as I suspected!-been filling up. I'll put it in, but between extant requests and summer vacationing, I'll have to warn that it might be a little while yet.
1:55 "Perhaps more than he should have been."
I won't lie. I clicked on this video with the sole hope of hearing this. I've no interest in Alma; i just wanted to see Gustav being done justice to.
I would love to see a video on Colin McPhee, the first musicologist to study the music of Bali
McPhee is in the request pool, but it'll be a while. (I actually perform in a Balinese Gamelan ensemble, so it's of special interest to me as well!)
Forgive my ignorance. I was vaguely aware of Alma because of her marriage to Gustav but had little knowledge of her otherwise. I am not entirely sure that I am any the better for knowing more about her as a result of your inevitably excellent video but that is by no means your fault and thank you for all your work. Blessings and peace

Your turnaround is impressive! Did you work ahead or do you really produce a video a day?
I started this female composers project in late November of last year and uploaded the last one in mid-February. Depending on my schedule, I generally filmed in bunches-up to four videos-and then edited and uploaded as time allowed.
It was quite a significant undertaking; generally, a video a week is as much as my schedule allows.
Ah ok, I already really start to wonder how you managed it. a video week already sounds quite a lot of work, especially considering that you probably have to do a lot of research with conflicting facts and such. (I currently I'm working on a script too, still don't really know if in video or write form, but it's really hard work and it make me appreciate this kind of work ever more.)
