I love movies
I decided to do six unique albums in one year (kind of as a response to what you've been doing), and it's just SO cool to see that over two album's worth of material was crafted in only three weeks for this movie. Joel, you're as inspiring as ever.
Carter i love you buddy
@@liambaldwin3614 you're a sweetheart! get outta here!!!
Dang, ONLY six!?
Sophie’s singing voice is really special, I’ve never heard a voice quite like hers, she really nailed it
Need more heartachey musical numbers from these two!! I Love My Wife is on repeat.
"My Wife, Our Dog" made me cackle, it's so good
That was the moment I knew the movie was going fully crazy and it was so funny.
Please put the motivation song on the deluxe album 🙏
End song was so cool. It sounded like something old I was really surprised
Yes, it was the perfect vibe!
seriously, i thought it was some good quality song they found some where. insanely good.
Those musical numbers were insane
I’ve been listening to Not Meant For This World on repeat
this movie was incredible. I loved Carl's musical numbers
That's Cantonese squirrel 😂 I love the characters
Oh gosh I feel so spoiled with you guys sharing all this. Seriously, the score did so much to pull me into the story. It’s awesome.
The music was amazing.
It got us through, you best believe it
Didn't even notice that Carl had a different singing than talking voice!
Was size jeans do you wear I will send you a pair
I am a hard sell for soundtracks. Usually I just tune them out but there were multiple moments throughout the movie where I was actively thinking, “the soundtrack here is so good!” Great job Joel and MyKey!
same same
Wow ok, I assumed all the music and audio came first and you were working with that through the animation. That's wild that all of that came afterwards
I love that you’re using this 12 feature project to collaborate with other artists Joel, Hello My Beautiful Creatures is made so much more unique with the infusion of three brains
Enjoyed the movie and really appreciate these in-depth behind-the-scenes videos. Well done Joel and team!!
Such an amazing feat and expansion of your style.
I listened to the soundtrack the day after i watched the movie while i studied it was exciting
Please, please, please release the full AI motivational song. It's stuck in my head now too.
Hahaha the full thing is nuts, not sure where to upload it
Amazing score!!!
I absolutely loved "Not Meant For This World"
This answers all my questions! Amazing!
I was blown away by how beautiful the scores were. Amazing job!
Loved the first watch and was so delighted to see the soundtrack up on Spotify! I’m excited to share this very special project with friends in the future. The finale song has been on LOOP
The movie was fun to watch!
The Falling Freddy performance was actually fantastic. Ever time he would lose one hand and go "OH MY GOD!" it just floored me.
i liked when MyKey would give that calm and wholesome "Thanks Man" when Joel gives him his flowers haha
Been waiting for this because I was so curious how you pulled off the musical aspects of the film. Every aspect of the film was amazing but the musical score really pulled it together and made it stand out that much more. I especially love the final song, I already know that's gonna be on loop for a while.
Loved the movie, well worth the wait. Keep up the great work!
I feel that the musical work for the film's finale had such a great effect for the drama, I loved that
The scoring for this movie was brilliant.
Mykey did amazing man. I'm surprised he hadn't had more experience with writing scores. That was just so good.
Watched the whole thing today and it was incredible. Astounding work by you and your team, Joel. You are the picture of an artist, a craftsman, very inspiring. Keep up the amazing work!
The music is brilliant Good job, Mykey!
I recently watched this film and loved it. This is my favorite film you’ve made joel. I am very inspired by what you and Eric created. It’s amazing what you were able to accomplish with Hello My Beautiful creatures..
GREAT MOVIE N AMAZING MUSIC THANK YALL FOR SHARING YOUR ART!!!!
You HAVE to put those alternative song takes on the ST album.
You didnt just make an amazing stop motion movie during those three months, you also produced a damn good beard!
Competition for Trent!
i have to say here bc i haven’t seen anyone else point it out but carl’s singing voice sounds exactly like late-era david byrne to me. for a moment i actually thought y’all figured out a way to hire him somehow. absolutely spellbinding
Will there be a budget breakdown? I was looking forward to it ☹️
Thank You!
Been listening to the score all day, had to pause it to watch the video. Joel + Mykey is the dream team!
shoutout to the nokeric heads out there
Freaking awesome movie
the Cantonese squirrels absolutely made this movie for me
Joel after watching the last two videos here where both other creators mentioned that you stayed with them... Be honest this whole 12 movies in 12 months is just a way for you to couch crash without raising suspicion isn't it? If you need a place to stay... Just say so. 🤣 Loved the movie!
Falling Freddy in the flesh... wow :D
wait... so they first did the animation without any script and THEN scripted and recorded everything on the base of scene lengths??
hahahahahhahathat song my godhaha so good
1 view 16 seconds fell off
I swear it’s not what it looks like
@@joeltalksaboutmovies Bro got called tf out that's crazy dude!!
Baby shoes, for sale, never worn
the AI song is better than the movie. sorry, i don’t make the rules.
