I Am NOT A Role Model! - (Just Blessed...For Now)

- I am so blessed to be able to get the knives I am able to and have the reidculous collection that I have, but like most things it is only temporary, and will likely change soon. But that's okay!
Premium knives can range anywhere between $300 to several thousands. Those prices are unsustainable for most people's income which is why I enjoy sharing my collection with others. With the recent increase in drops by various knifemakers, then the numerous different options out there, it's quite impossible to obtain them all. As u mentioned selling and trading, with the occasional loaner are essential for a YT reviewer to keep creating content
Well said
There’s always going to be varying opinions on price.
I appreciate you sharing knives most of us don’t have the opportunity to check out. Thank you.
I'm a big supporter of your channel! I appreciate all the hard work that you do. Thank you, brother 🙏.
I appreciate that
Anyone hating is probably either jealous or your channel isn’t for them period. I appreciate getting your perspective on a lot of these things.
I’m in the same boat. I’ve handled a lot of things but I’m getting this feeling like I’m getting to the end of the road. I need to focus on other things mainly my relationship. Eventually I’ll need to offload some things and just keep the gems and hopefully the itch goes away.
U do U. Carry on.
god bless you brother, I'm now on a fixed income. so don't splurge like I use too. but when I was able to, I spent stupid money on all things I love. including my family. love what you display, and nothing to explain god bless you and keep showing the goods.
Right on
I absolutely love your channel and vicariously enjoy your collection & presentation. Never miss a post. As a previous commenter stated “U do U”. Thanks for taking us along on the journey.
Thank you!
People should be happy to see someone is blessed. Especially when you share your content i get to see some knives that i could not afford. You are doing a great service for a lot of people like me i hope God keeps blessing you Carter!
Thank you!
I sold 16k worth of knives when I bought a house and had my first kid in the same year. I was 27 and been buying busses an Randall's, crks, etc....those knives are worth triple or more now.
However, I never ran out of diapers, formula, food or missed a bill.
I had years where I bought very little to spending custom rifle $.
There are so many good knives now I really am picky.
This was a good video and a sobering one to remember the ups and downs. Good video on life 😊
I appreciate the commentary here. Thanks for being real, and transparent. Carry on my man.
👊
Also I’m curious. What are your knives that you wouldn’t sell. Your gems you feel like you will keep forever?
A video on that would be cool if you haven’t already.
You buy what you want. It’s your money. If you are happy that’s what matters.
I wasn't jealous of your collection but it is cool that you explained the way you are doing things.
I appreciate that!
Love your content dude.
Also maybe in addition to the less expensive knives I’d love long term use updates. 6 months, years whatever.
Noted!
Hey! You do what you want with your money!
I respect whatever people do with their hobbies and interests and you won't lose any money in the investment of your collection anyway because you have a valuable collection!
Please do a video or videos on your collection before you decide to sell them!!
I really appreciate this video. Been watching you since the grayman satu days. I’m glad you’re doing well and keep the videos coming.
I appreciate that!
Awesome video man! Really well said. You typically dont hear anything like this from other creators. Keep up the awesome content. I really enjoy seeing your reviews. Take care!
I appreciate that!
Definitely check out the lamia. It's hyped for sure but a great edc with good steel, good ht, and great geometry. I'd say it's a higher end knife that makes a great user, which isn't usually the case with most $800 knives.
👊
If you can afford it and enjoy it then go for it
an amazing collection and wisdom on life?! what doesn't this guy have?!
Money! 🤣
Hey if there jealous that’s on them don’t let it affect you they should either be happy with what they can afford or work harder or find a better job
👊
Wise words Cater. I’m over 50 years old and myself at a younger age wouldn’t have allowed such purchases. Also jealousy and envy are 2 of the seven deadly sins. 😉
😁
To each their own. I'm old AND poor lol. I also daily a deadlock:)
👊
Wishing you continued success/prosperity!! When and if you start selling some I would sure like to have a shot. For some strange reason I cant seen to get my hands on a strider SNG :(
Thank you!
I love drooling over your collection. There's nothing wrong with your collection. I once had about 60k in knives and they were stolen. That really hurt. I don't make the kind of money I made back then. Hell yeah brother, keep rocking. You are a knife channel, you should have a badass collection. The haters gonna hate because they can't afford to spend money like you do. Let them go cry in the corner and keep banging out those bangers.
Damn dude. Stolen?!
Im not normal either, I started collecting knives after I quit Magic cards but I sidestepped into collecting claw weapons a few years ago and I am not sure where this road ends because now the problem of dual weilding 2 sets of my favorite claws means I need to find a way to grow another pair of arms... Or perhaps an advanced cybernetic prosthetic would be best, it would allow me to bolt my claws onto my wrists permanently if I wanted.
Just mathematically if you add them up if I had 2 regular arms and 2 cyborg arms and each claw has 4 blades on them, it's like I would be technically wielding 16 knives at once.
😁
😅😅 I can justify buying knives that are $300+ only because I'm:
1.Single
2. Have no kids
3. have a decent job
4. don't drink alcohol or use hard drugs....
I have friends who think I'm nuts for spending all the money I do on knives, and maybe I am, but those same friends will drop hundreds of dollars at a bar or strip club...
The way I see it, at least I'm able to keep my knives forever..
(P.S. It also doesn't help that my boss is also a knife guy and will egg me on...)
🤣
I have a couple question. Since you probably have all of them 😂
I'm working on my "American made" collection.
Since December, I've added 3 Hinderers and 2 CRKs, and today, I'll be adding a Medford Slim Midi.
What do you think i should grab next, I'm between a few makers/knives.
Mcnees PM Mac2 3.5"
Spartan Harsey Folder 4"
Strider SnG
Medford Preaetorian T
Which of those would you try to target first? I was thinking the Strider SnG, seeing that it's probably going to be the most difficult/expensive of the lot.. or should I just go after the ones that will be easier to knock off the list?
Which one's your favorite of the bunch?
@@SliceyAethstetic I would go strider. Mote specifically a green MEFP SnG. Prices are crazy low in them right now (on the secondary and of course relatively speaking)
Knife guys gonna knife guy.
facts
Some i can't or not willing to buy so keep showing them!!
I also like the idiot reactions and your reaction on it....
🤣
You don't owe us an explanation brother! Let the haters hate. If they're not trolling you they will just troll somebody else.
👊
COMBAT TROOOODON💥
*Combat True-adon
Probly spent 5k on my collection I'm lucky but I don't own a car so it's OK I know I can't buy knives like these forever. Good thing I can just sell some knives at a loss if I want more😂
👊
You are my role model.
🤣
The key to owning high end knives - and lots of them - is don’t have kids 😁😁
🤣🤣🤣 Smart
😂😂😂😂
Coping.
