    I find the hardest thing about eating a lot is just making all that food.

      That is why you buy snacks. I usually only have to make one meal, which is breakfast. The rest is either protein supplement, and snacks.

      To clarify, I eat 6 times a day. I eat Breakfast in the morning, two hours later I eat a snack, then an hour later I eat another snack. After two hours, I eat a mass gainer protein shake, then I eat another meal and finally take two servings of nuts to get good fats. And it fits my macros so it's all good. Hope that clarifies what I said earlier.

    1- eat nuts- almonds, high in calorie , good fats, get some protein as well. snack on nuts all the time. and not feel stuff
    2- eat liquid calories- protein, carbs fats, like bananas(fruti in general), peanut butter, avacados, yogurt, greek yogurt, conconut oil.
    3- eat all the time- dont wait for lunch times so u stuff all the time, so u dont feel lethargic and dont go too long without eating. on the go snacks u can take are peanut butter and bread sandwiches (11% whole grain) almonds , greek yogurt, fruits, whole grain bagels and cheese.
    4- dont drink empty calories like diet soda, tea or coffee. theyll make u feel full and not make u gain anything.
    5- eat nut butters- almond butter and peanut butter - high calories, eat them alone with a spoon or add them with ur sandwich/ bagel or shakes.
    6- be strategic with when u drink water. drinking too much water during meal time will take up precious stomach capacity and wil make u feel full. (stretching tecnhiwue for ur stomach to have more space. is to drink in one sitting)
    7- eat fiber-healthy intestinal track
    8- get a mass gainer- like true mass. 700 calories per serving.
    9- eat lots of wholesome carbs like otmeals, and sweet potatoes
    10-always eat protein first.
    11) eat before bed. like greek yogurt with 1 1/2 scoop of syntha-6 isolate. that has casein protein.
    12) eat standing up.
    get your baseline meal plan down and experiment with ur calorie intake.

    "eat peanut-butter"
    What about the other things
    "Eat sandwiches"

    • @buddhathegod
      @buddhathegod 7 років тому +7

      Jared Trudel Haha yeah sunflower seeds are really good.... unfortunately here in Sweden, a lot of companies use walnut oil to roast them. It's not always written either so I'm a bit afraid to take the risk. There are some safer alternatives for me though, like chia-seeds and stuff (but that tastes like shit).

    • @jaredtrudel3857

      Randall Boo, So I'm 6'4 and was 190, then I started taking Dymatize Mass Gainger. Two months of that and I was 215 yet the weight went to my midsection. Everyone's body is different and gaining weight and muscle takes time. Most of these guys, like Scott, have been working out/lifting for years, not 6 months. I bought On Whey powder. Less carbs, same protein. I weigh 207 now.

    Growing really does come down to just eating more of the RIGHT foods. In the last 3 weeks I have seen a massive improvement in not only my physique but my strength and energy from boosting my calories from 3,100 a day to closer to 4,000. A lot of you asked me how I was able to eat so much more food. Well, at the end of the day I just ate larger portions of the same things and I know if you follow these 12 tips they will be able to greatly help you out!
    Here are the links to supplements and how to find your macros that I mentioned in the video:

    Fantastic info. Getting enough calories to get bigger has always been a huge problem for me, and still is. Few new tips here that I'll put to use. Only thing I disagree with is using a mass gainer. They're really expensive, usually just have a lot of junk in them, and they make me feel like crap, sometimes for a couple of hours. But as always, appreciate the video.

    Using shakes (with lots of oats, milk, fruits, nuts etc), upped my caloric intake from 2500 to 3500 calories for the past 3 months: finally upped most of my lifts, only gained 1kg in this time but look better anyways (beginner gain-period).

    • @reezis1619
      @reezis1619 7 років тому

      You should be gaining 1kg per month, if your scale isn't moving eat more. Still isn't moving? Eat more til it moves. You should be increasing 1kg per month at a linear state for a lean bulk.

    I have started to do some of these i.e adding bananas and oats to shakes. Will have to try eating the protein first in meals, as that seems like an interesting tid bit. It's been fun adding on these 30+lbs of muscle over 4 years as this is how long I have actually been working out, and at my initial weight I was 138ish at 6ft lol.. Weighed myself last night, I am currently 172.4 at 10% body fat.

    Is it possible to gain weight and muscled and get big without all those poweders/supps/gainers etc. ?

    • @darkstaar246
      @darkstaar246 7 років тому +1

      Kaendio yeah, but you have to consume a ton of protein. So chicken, fish or lean beef are great sources of protein. Protein powders are just quick and convenient and are quickly broken down by your body, so I would definitely recommend using them in smoothies, especially if you're goal is to gain weight and muscle mass.

I was at 44 body fat when i was 14 years old and now i am 16, have cut down to around 20 percent and have built an insane amount of muscle mass for the time i have been training. I will keep making those gains and of course keep watching your Videos Scott!

      A light snack is fine because your metabolism when you are fasting/ sleeping will cause you to lose those calories that you had in the day quickly. Just don't eat a whole meal, probably best to add more protein into the mix because protein breaks down much slower than carbohydrates.

    • @bnilo

      An old myth guys...you're still going to be digesting while you sleep. In fact, I can't sleep well if I go to bed even a little bit hungry

    • @erikbentley9005
      @erikbentley9005 8 років тому +1

      Don't listen to that myth. It's bullshit. I have a casein protein shake before bed every night because sleeping is when protein synthesis (fancy for muscle recovery) occurs so therefore having the protein in your system before the process begins is essential. I've been doing that for months now and I not only feel leaner but I also feel that I have built more muscle in that time.

    • @erikbentley9005
      @erikbentley9005 8 років тому

      Avoid carbs before bed though so that way you aren't throwing your body off of its hormonal cycle. My shake recipe before bed is: milk, vanilla casein powder (HATE chocolate protein now lol), cinnamon, coconut oil, and a small amount of pure vanilla extract

    i struggle to eat meals,especially breakfast, im rushing around getting ready for work i barely have time. for anyone struggling like i did could try this,a breakfast smoothie. i have one every morning. get one of those nutri bullet blender things, heres the recipe i have 2 bannannas, 100mg natural yoghurt, 1 raw egg, 2 scoops of mass gainer (whatever flavour) (40g? i think), half pint of alpro soya milk, little bit of honey ( i dip a fork in the honey jar and let it run off, so like half a teaspoon) teaspoon of cadburys chocolate drinking powder. blend it up and drink it down. will fill you up for hours.
