  • Hey y'all!
Today, I am sharing two gameday staples with you- rotel and lil smokies! These are SO simple to make, especially in the crockpot! You just dump in your ingredients and forget about it! When you come back in 3 hours, you will have delicious food to eat during the game!
    Rotel Dip:
    Ingredients:
    - 1 32oz block of Velveeta
    - 1 8oz block of cream cheese
    - 2 10oz cans of Ro-Tel (mild or hot)
    - Browned ground beef (optional)
I split the ingredients in half in the video because I was only feeding myself and Alan. For a family portion, use all of the ingredients!
1.) In a crockpot set on low heat, cut up the blocks of Velveeta and cream cheese into chunks. It won't melt if you don't break the blocks up! Dump in the Ro-Tel cans as well as the ground beef if you are choosing to add that.
2.) Cover with the lid and let cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally throughout.
    Lil Smokies:
    Ingredients:
    - 1 12oz bottle of chili sauce
    - 1/2 jar of grape jelly (roughly 13.5 oz)
    - 1 cup of dark brown sugar, lightly packed
    - 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
    - 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
    - 1 28oz package of cocktail sausages
1.) In a crockpot set on low heat, dump in the cocktail sausages, grape jelly, chili sauce, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything together so the ingredients are evenly distributed.
2.) Cover with the lid and let cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally throughout.
I appreciate y'all stopping by so much! No matter who you are routing for, I hope you and your family can enjoy these recipes on your next game day!

Those look great. I wish they were in my house right now. We use crockpot liners and clean up is so much easier.

Looks yummy! Do you call Rotel Dip Rotel? I'll have to try adding cream cheese to mine. I haven't tried that. I've had meatballs rather than Lil Smokies with same recipe and they are delicious. Thank you for sharing!
