As an RE game, it's one of the worst. As an Action game, there's plenty to love with its camp and surprisingly deep combat tech if you want. I keep coming back to it on a somewhat regular basis
I would say Leon campaign is the only one worth it. Chris is just annoying the whole way, specially the helicopter parts. Jake is just running and Ada is just unnecessary
I think the reason i don't like 6 is because it feels very shallow to play. It feels like an arcade shooter and essentially abandons my favorite parts of the RE franchise (exploration and puzzle-solving). I think the camp is charming and I'm happy they brought Sherry back etc. but I'm not rewarded for backtracking, or saving ammo, or checking every drawer. There's no puzzles and no real decision-making. I also think the ui is jank and it was constantly fighting with my muscle memory

No way is resident evil 6 the worst, you could argue mainline maybe, but not worst. There are like 5-7 worse. It's not the best horror game, but it has a lot of content + it's got some interesting things with it's combat system once you pick it up more. Also there is a real lack of co op games with proper campaigns. Farming/platinum length doesn't factor in on difficulty, it's why there is a time category and a difficulty one. It's about how hard it is, not amount of effort.
6 is the worst. Operation raccoon is better, and so is dead aim and that game is doodoo water. And difficulty does stack in with how long it takes to get the plat. It’s what people look at before diving into the game. You’re telling me that you’d rank a game 1/10 even if every single trophy is missable? Dead rising should be a 2/10 then since it’s a really easy game? Just gotta survive for 14 in real hours. Cake.
@@doccobell Umbrella Corps exists Operation Racoon City is worse too The length doesn't add to the numerical when discussing a platinum, a 1/10 can be 100 hours long, and a 30 minute platinum can be 10/10. Of course people factor in how long it takes, but the length doesn't add to the difficulty. Yes a game can be 1/10 if every single trophy is miss-able. If there is a telltale game where it's just like "make sure you grab these 3 items and the story has no trophies itself, and if you get those 3 items you get the platinum and they're not hard to get", then yeah, it's still a 1/10. Difficulty is the gauge on if you're capable of doing it with skill capabilities, not miss-able vs auto trophies. I mean I wouldn't give it a 2/10 because it has actual trophies that need you to factor in some degree of skill, there is a difference between "speedrun is difficult so it adds to the difficulty" and "just make sure you grab these things". If the time crunch adds to the effort beyond "just look up a guide", then yeah, like if a game requires you beat resident evil game in like 20 minutes, and the world record is 30 minutes or something, then yeah, that is a difficulty based trophy. But copying a guide to make sure you grab everything doesn't make a game a 6/10

Like final fantasy origin: stranger of paradise, solid game, weird asf characters and writing, and people mainly view it as the latter than the prior. Knack is a meme even though knack 2 is actually a pretty solid game and knack 1 wasn't unplayable, but people will remember the memes. Resi 6 is "the worst" because of it's zeitgeist reputation, while most don't even know those worse games exist, and even the ones who do are kind of still affected by the overall reputation of the game.

I actually kind of liked Resident Evil 6. Well at least Leon's campaign. The other campaigns were very mid ngl. I feel like this game gets way too much hate. Sure it ditched the survival horror aspect for more action horror with terrible quick time events like re4 but I think the experience is enjoyable enough in it's own right, especially in Co-op.

And it seems you didn't really bother learning the controls like sliding and different knife attacks, melee attacks, parry, dodges, and much more
