@@southforkranch78 If it's possible , can you show the scene where Cliff Barnes is sweating bullets because his oil rigg foreman can't seem to find oil out in the gulf . BUT when Jordan Lee looks at the blueprints of the area of where Cliff is drilling , he tells him to just hire a New foreman . And show us the end results 😉 . Thank you .
A TV series, a soap opera, not an Oscar nominated film and still what we see here are two extraordinary performances by two outstanding actresses. Linda and Victoria were both incredible in this scene.
Oh absolutely. By Hollywood Standards they would be known as B TV Actresses. Neither one of them were well known. Before Dallas LInda Gray was in Murder In Peyton Place with Marj Dusay (RIP) and John Beck before playing Mark Grayson on Dallas or even Sam Curtis on Flamingo Road. Sue Ellen is a post Swan/prre real life housewife. What she said was so true, her identity is measured as being Mrs. JR Ewing. In Rich Society or even Hollywood it's the same thing. 😢. Also Nobody remembers the first wives of famous men. Onassis, Vanderbilt, can attest to that. Also in Hollywood, nobody remembers the first mrs ted danson, mrs. michael douglas, mrs will smith, mrs tom cruise or the first women married to john lennon, mick jagger, sting, james brown and many others.
I wished those two had talked on The Dallas Anniversary Special and joke around about how nasty Sue Ellen was to Pam in the early days. Linda Gray sure came a long way. She also did the West End (UK Version Of Broadway) as Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate. She would be perfect on the UK Soap Opera Hollyoaks as an American Relative.
Fun fact: Originally, Sue Ellen was to be a minor character--but Linda Gray had such good chemistry with Larry Hagman that Sue Ellen became one of the central characters on Dallas, and the show was all the better for it...
Whenever I see a wet bar scene like that, I can recall from the 1960s when my dad watching TV shows would always comment about how convenient it was that there was always a freshly stocked ice bucket in the scene. xD
@@harperstacey9604 She definitely was. I love how her appearance falls to pieces as the season goes on. The hungover and red eyes the whole lot. She just gave up caring.
Love Pamela she did not play such great memories when the world was a much better place to live And families gathered to watch quality shows like Dallas.

It was that way it was @ my school, and especially @ recess and at the lunch cafeteria table. PLUS, every week on the WEEK, I stayed mad @ 😡 J.R. Ewing.
Victoria Principal was beautiful in this scene. From 1980 and onward she never looked again as beautiful as she looked on the first two seasons of Dallas.
I can see why the Ewing mansion sets got a huge makeover after Dynasty became a competitor. I can barely follow the conversation because I’m so distracted by the hideousness of the fabric on the sofa. 😂
Why do they keep a well stocked bar out in the open when they know she has a drinking problem? Also it’s classless to grab the ice with her hands not tongs.
I take your point, but I don't think Sue Ellen was going for classy at this stage. She was grabbing ice with her hands, her shoes were off, and she was piss drunk. Miss Ellie never would have stood for any of that in her house. Sue Ellen was at that stage of despair where she felt there was no more left to lose.
This show was most def the b🥃🥃ze CAPITOL, just as the Southfork pool was a water b🥊xing ring. Speaking of boxing, they should have guest starred Sylvester Stallone. Man, I could picture the Sly bust J.R. Ewing's nose.
Pam was a bully, suellen had the right to hit her back. Suellen told her the truth about the ewing men. Everyone of those men cheated on their wives. They were awful.
As soon as I heard the Knots Landing theme on Thursday nights, I would switch off the TV, turn over in bed and go to sleep. My dreams got better Nielsen ratings KL.
@@chipmunkvernoy yes I agree she did. I’ve noticed this on a lot of TV shows especially sitcoms. People like Roseanne Barr and Jerry Seinfeld are/were definitely standups, but not great actors but definitely approved as their series went on.

I always loved Sue Ellen and always loved Linda Gray, her acting is just excellent!
That's the reason why I uploaded this scene, great acting all over!

Hagmans too
I'm sure most people have heard that already!
Lots of shows change as writers see strengths
poor Sue Ellen, I completely understand her, she was so very unhappy with love
Yeah I think the "Winds of Justice" was the turning point on that issue
Pam's angry eyes when she smacked Sue Ellen looks like something 😳 nightmares are made of. 💀😱
Look at Pam's eyes when she is angry! Damn!!!
You ain't kidding !!!
She is really sexy when angry as well.
She was pretty intense
Pam looked like she was possessed by the devil when she slapped Sue Ellen. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
Phyllis Hammond, scary as hell 😳 👿🔥if you ask me.
Her and Pam actually become very good friends
Yes they did
They always was they just argued in time to time.
Two wonderful actresses ❤️
Wish they could have spiced things up and become lovers. Really.
Maybe today but not then...why ask why..try bi?

That would have been Raoul or Teresa :)
The way she stands up and towers over Pam with "How many paid your bills before you found Bobby to pick up the tab? 😂😂😂

Pam isn't afraid of Sue Ellen at all she'll kick Sue Ellen's butt 😁
Bobbynever cheated on Pam. Sue Ellen was so jealous of Pam and Bobby's marriage.
But Sue Ellen tried to get with Bobby when she was drunk and said she should have married him. 😂
Loved Linda Gray And Victoria Principal They Did Extravagantly Fantastic In This Scene Love Pam And Sue Ellen💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
This SHOW Had Plenty Of Booze
Sure did. No wonder Larry Hagman's liver was destroyed
I’m so glad Pam nailed Sue Ellen!

When Pam’s eyes got like that you knew you were in trouble!
That dark blue sofa with the flower pattern is really nice, eh?
Victoria Principal was beautiful in this scene. From 1980 and onward she never looked again as beautiful as she looked on the first two seasons of Dallas.
I agree. 1978-1979 she was stunning.
Think it was the hair style for both that changed things.
I can see why the Ewing mansion sets got a huge makeover after Dynasty became a competitor. I can barely follow the conversation because I’m so distracted by the hideousness of the fabric on the sofa. 😂
I loved Dynasty but it still could never out beat Dallas.

“Sue Ellen, you’re drunk!”
Sue Ellen's behavior toward Pam was inexcusable.
what were we saying about TV shows lacking strong female roles
That’s what I’m saying I was born in 81. They just talk to talk but we know better.
I could use a drink too !
You Go Pam 👍💖💖💖💖💖💖
02:54 - now that is a scary sight considering how stunningly beautiful VP is
Say the Ewing man had perished in that plane crash, I don't think Miss Ellie ever would have thrown her daughters in law out.
She wouldn’t have. She loved those girls like they were her own. And I’m sure they loved her also.
Vous n avez pas de vidéos de bobby and jenna ou leur mariage merci
Bobby and Jenna never married, they were just engaged.
Dallas needed more female fights
Dynasty certainly has made up it😳😵💫😨😂🤣

That Barnes girl better stay out of old Jrs business

I don't remember Bobby cheating

Pam was hardly a bully here. She was looking out for Sue Ellen and she was hostile and threw insults at her.
Way to go Pamela

Mrs. J.R. Ewing was so boring back then.
Agree I like sue Ellen later on and I liked Pam this way she was strong not later on
And much of it did Sue Ellen consume?
What ish plentay?
Sue Ellen was not rich before JR
Sue Ellen was a beauty queen before she met JR.
Cartoonish. Try Knots Landing for real actors and emotions.
