Fellow Christian homeschool mom of 3 and avid reader here! Love your videos! Historical fiction is my favorite genre! I just finished Rebecca and loved it. I think that is technically a classic but also historical fiction 😊
Oh I totally understand having to reorganize after homeschooling. I’m not homeschooling but my kids are doing full time virtual classes so that means I’m on the clock from 9 to 2. It is exhausting but there is a lot that I’m enjoying about being home with them and learning with them, I’m treasuring these moments. I did not read any historical fiction, because I’m hocked on fantasy right now and loving it!!!
Great video as always! Being a wife, a mother, a home tutor, and finding time to shoot and edit UA-cam videos - You are a superhero. Thanks to you I found "A gentleman in Moscow", "The Book thief" and "Bridge of clay" and they are my TBR for 2021.
I'm so glad you're getting in the groove of homeschooling! ☺️ Everytime I hear you talk about Jess Kidd the books sound like something I'd enjoy, I need to read Things in Jars asap!
I love that we were all late on finishing our books! I guess that is what happens when we last minute decide to do this again hahah! I have MISSED your vlogs so much. Like seriously, FREAKING GOLD! That Map is so perfect! I love love LOVE Gentleman in Moscow so much!! I am trying to think if I haven't loved a book you suggested. I cannot wait for February. I already started setting books aside. Round three will be the best one yet!!
That's awesome you're homeschooling now. I homeschooled my sons through 8th grade. I would definitely do it over again if I could. Our area has a large hs population so we were able to be in enrichment classes and field trips.
It’s so nice to see a vlog from you. Loved it. I managed to read two books for the readathon. One I didn’t like and the other one was an Agatha Christie mystery and I really liked it. :D
I LOVED The War that Saved my Life! I was so bummed I couldn’t participate in the readathon this year, but we are moving. So glad you are loving homeschooling 🥰. What curriculum did you end up choosing? I’m always so curious!
It was such a sweet story! No worries, we're going to do it again in February :), hope the move went well! We ended up going with ACE and love it, both kids have so much fun, and I love that it's all faith-based :) It's such a fun time being so involved in their learning, such a blessing to our family to get to do this!
Oh thank you! I really dont do much! Some days it's just bigger than others.. All i do is use a little head and shoulders on my scalp (super hard water makes my poor head itch so it is what it is), and then scrunch in conditioner and don't rinse. Then I scrunch in a little aloe gel or regular gel and air dry. I think I had just taken it down from the pineapple so it was probably still floofy from that hehe
I'm generally a genre-hopper! But I love historical fiction (especially wwii), middlegrade, fantasy, hard-hitting contemporary. I'm (so far) not a huge sci-fi reader, but I'd still give it a shot from time to time :)

Glad you enjoyed!
I can't wait to hear your review of Daughter of the Reich!!😎
Wrap up video is going up soon, but I gave it a 4! :)
We homeschool also, and love the flexibility it gives us!
It's so great!
17:14 Birds love you. Are you a Disney princess?
haha I think my chickens think I am!
Totally not book related, but your hair is goals. How do you get so much volume? I have a similar texture, but I can never get that much height.
