Thanks!
I have just started watching your channel and really like this style for beginners. I also really like when you teach more while you are painting. Please keep doing this it's a BIG help, for me anyway.
Another winner
So informative Andrew, thank you👍.

Thank you!
Very nice,thank you.
NMy pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for sharing that demo. The whole picture is harmonious. I especially love the first part. I feel less ease with large use of Payne's grey
Thank you! i need to filter in some more of these videos. i have so many projects going on at once :)!
Just discovered your demos today. Such a great teaching method! Love your explanations! Thank you for sharing and for the encouragement to go for it! I have wanted to be more loose. These will help so much!
Thanks! Im glad you are finding these helpful! Im sure you can paint looser, just a little bit of practice and experimenting and youll be on your way!
Great tutorial and painting Andrew!👍
Thank you! And great first name!
The sky is lovely
Great tutorials and even greater finished paintings. The softness of these make the painting look so peaceful. I've got several hake brushes but none get the edge like the Ron Ranson. I think I'll spend the $$ and get the set. I consider myself a beginner at watercolors but getting a tad bit better each day. Thank you so much for the great tutorials.
Thank you, Im really glad you enjoy the tutorials, its what keeps me making them :).
I find I now only use the medium Ron Ranson hake, but they are decently priced to buy a few different sizes. Im also experimenting with taking soft hake brushes and "pre wearing them out."
@@AndrewBroussardWatercolors I watched those vids and if I remember it didn't work as hoped. I have several soft hakes which I use for some washes and stippling. I have another type of Hake coming from Amazon tomorrow. I was watching one of Lois Davidson's vids and she was trying a new goats hair Hake with the bamboo handle. Couldn't find the same model but found a similar one. Anxious to try it.
Very cool! Its unfortunately that its hard to get a stanard hake to age like a Ron Ranson hake.. I hope they never stop making them. Lois has quite a collection of different brushes and tools! The bamboo ones are fun... are the hairs very long on it?
Love love love how you do your foliage first then the trunks! Gonna give it a go, I've been learning watercolor for 1 year this month! Im gonna definitely look up the RR disciples
Awesome! Thank you! Come join the fun.
Beautiful, Andrew!
Thank you!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your support! If there is anything you would like to see let me know! :)
I found your videos through a mention from Joe Menza. I enjoy your work!
Thank you so much! Hes a swell guy!
Beautiful work, Andrew, lovely wet in wet watercolour. Try to alter your camera angle so that we can see all of the demonstration. I have had problems with this in the past in addition to which, I still can't adjust my camcorder to its full potential. Regards, Dave.
Thank you. Ill play around with different angles
Hi! What is the material of the bristles of your brush? Thank you?
Its a ron ranson hake brush, made by pro arte. Goat hair.
What dimensions?
This one is a medium size hake. I used to use the large but it was a bit much for me
