I have a Ferrari, but I can't drive it!

Just another boring day without driving the Ferrari, but I don't care. That's live, you can't always get your way...
I bought my 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi back in 2012 and have been in love with it ever since. I knew that after 40 years and 200k km’s the car would need some TLC, but never thought I would go this far. When she broke down in 2018 I send the engine and gearbox to a dealer for a rebuild. Soon I decided that this would be a good time to get rid of the rusty areas. One thing led to another and now it’s almost a complete overhaul.
In the beginning of 2020 I decided I needed some extra motivation to finish my Ferrari 308 GTSi project. I started this UA-cam channel to find people who are interested in this kind of projects and force myself to make progress. It worked!

Six weeks! I haven't driven mine in months. Sad. But it is too hot here in Texas to drive it. But the weather has changed... soon it will be time!!!

As said above get well soon. And I’m sure you will reach your goals. I have all of 15 subscribers but I rarely post. I’ve been posting more recently. We live in northern Portugal but our Ferrari is from the Netherlands. We try and drive it often. Oh, there’s always a list here too, but these cars love to be driven.
As for ideas, road trips, road trips, road trips! But do get well soon. Perhaps a video more about yourself, how long have you been into Ferrari and other cars? For me, coming from America (not proud of it) I grew up with muscle cars of the 60s and that started my passion. If you look in my channel you will see a few.
Anyway, enjoy, stay healthy and keep posting. And thank you for doing so.
