That there is (or was) a Cleveland Harbor Railway is a revelation to me. The Indiana Harbor Belt carcasses were especially interesting to me as I see their successors often. Thanks for taking us on this interesting tour.
At The Anderson-DuBose, lots of locos mostly looking in good order, but noteworthy that they are all 4-axle units that are now surplus, from CSX, UP etc etc. which I think is indicative to the fact that many RRs use 6 -axle power as yard units and still have the flexibility to use them in consist out of the yard too, not just on local jobs.
i know where the mcdonald place is , i loaded ,my truck out of mcdonald steel which just closed down, is the lordstown location off route 45 great video
An interesting video showing the many diesel locomotives at McDonald Steel Corp. shows. Will these be repaired and sold again? The last part of the video is definitely junkyard. Thank you for showing and best regards.
You're aware that it's illegal to hold a phone or any other electronic device in your hand while driving in Ohio? Have some consideration for other road users.
@@TheeFishGuy It's not about whethere YOU will be fine. It's about whether the person you hit because you're not paying attention to your driving will be fine.
@@TheeFishGuy Haha driving without paying proper attention is so funny! lol! Hahahaha! Seriously, why do you think it's even remotely OK? Why do you keep telling me that you weren't on a road? What difference do you think that makes?
@@beeble2003 not that I need to prove anything to you but since you’ve decided to take the role of dad I will. My Dad wanted me to prove things, God rest his soul, so here we go! First scene where we catch a train I was neither A, driving, or B on the road! I was on the side of the road filming. Not against the law. At the first location, key word “location” we were on private property. NOT ON A ROAD! Did you think all those engines were parked next to a road or something? At the second location I was out of my truck for the first few scenes, then on PRIVATE PROPERTY! Your argument holds no weight. So if you like trains just enjoy the video.

Here’s one of the many fly over videos that prompted me to go there: ua-cam.com/video/oyAUhkkUPKU/v-deo.htmlsi=Etj1X8QEgsPRDr1G
It's been a over year since I went to LTEX, interesting to see what's changed.
When you were there did anyone give you a problem? I want to go back soon. Just wondering if I should make an attempt to speak with someone.
That's a lot of locomotives sitting there!
I will never forget the race riots of October 1972. Now I can see my old office and shop compart🎉ments. 😢
At which place?

Yes, it is. McDonald steel closed down? There were a few cars there and a few were leaving when we got there. Definitely wasn’t “hoppin” though.
A lot of classic iron sitting at those locations! 🙂
Beautiful aren’t they?
Like walking into a toy store when you were 6 years old! 👍🏻👍🏻

They repair, resell, scrap, part out and lease engines and switchers.
9:05 WHAT IS THAT SP UNIT
That’s what it looks like! I don’t know what model though. They’re not nw2’s

Considering I was never on a road I think I’ll be fine.
