Love, love your taste on everything, so elegant and unique, my favorite!!. Just wanted to let you know in case... that the Aesop mouthwash has a little tiny beaker that you can put it as a lid but i think you have to ask the seller to give you one ( it's free) and so cute!! would make your set up ever cuter!! I would also like you to sell your art but with your unique frames!! online please, I live too far away. Love your husbands interactions too!! you guys are such a cute couple!!! This is my first comment ever on anybody.... Love your channel!!!
Wow thank you!! 🥹 first comment ever, that made me smile so big!! Thank you for commenting and letting me know about the Aesop beaker, I had no idea that was a thing! Next time I get one I am going to see if I can get it! Thank you so much for watching our channel and leaving such kind words! 🥹🙏🏼
Love this, Brandy. I get dressed up when I am out with people…shopping, dinner whatever. When people come to see me, my home is dressed, also. I think your list of essentials is right on and layering is the most important thing I do to make my home cosy and beautiful. In this difficult economy, I advise people to purchase one thing at a time, little by little. Don’t buy junk. Wait til you can get something nice and worth having. Thanks, Brandy!
My problem is I lived in Europe for 8 years and Old European feels like home. I then moved to live in Asia for a few years and fell in love with anything Oriental and did my whole house in Asian. My next move was to the Middle East and a completely different world or decor. I’m retired and have gotten rid of all my Asian decor because it just didn’t fit into my southern Florida home. I tried the coastal look of blues and whites, wicker, seashells and boats and that just didn’t feel like me. I’m now going back to what I feel my roots are “Old European”. I have a large white slipcovered couch that I added some beautiful English Country pillows in cream, gray, brown and green. That is my jumping off point and will be starting all over again to make my home “me” again
I get it! My husband was in the Air Force for 30 years. We have a little bit of every style. Spent almost four years in Italy so mostly European influence.
Thank you so much Brandy, great video! I agree with all your suggestions, the only thing I would add is art. It really makes a difference in my home. Again thank you for all the time you spend putting out this content!
ART!! How could I forget about art!! You are so right, once I started adding art it truly started to feel like a home! 🥹 Thank you for continuing to watch and support, it means so much!! 🙏🏼🥰
One more thing I think is essential is Mirrors, I really love different styled big mirrors. They reflect the light & make a room appear much larger. I have a large mirror on a wall that looks like another window. Also, I have mixed art around too, some from different countries I have been too. I never get tired of my traditional look! I enjoy following you & getting new ideas. 🫶🏻
LOVE your style!! You have given me so many ideas that I have used in my home. Thanks!! I am searching for a dinning room table Your desk is my inspiration have you ever seen a dinning table like your desk?? Have you done any videos of dinning table options?
Brandy, you just nail home decor on a bigger scale than anyone I know. Your tips resonate with me in my home. You know I'm a huge fan of clay pots as well. I can never have enough and they have added that design element that speaks to me. One additional tip to add to your list would be good lighting. The type of lamp, the lamp shade, the color of the lighting sets the mood plus it makes such a difference. I tend to go for a warm light vs. a bright white light. The warmth makes it more cozy and moody. A bright stark white light wouldn't feel as inviting for my liking. TFS Friend 👍🏼👌🏽🏡
Aweeeee Jos!! Thank you my friend!! 🥹🫶🏼 I cannot wait to show even more (hopefully one day soon) and appreciate your constant support! Clay pots seriously never get old to me, they really add so much to a space. I am so happy you think so too! I cannot believe I forgot about lighting.. I couldn’t agree with you more, lighting makes the BIGGEST difference in the space, especially for that cozy feeling!! 🥰🤍
I am so happy to hear you’ve learned some things by watching!! 🥹🙏🏼 I am also happy to hear there is another clay pot lover out there!! I cannot get enough!! 😍
This is such ✨an informative and helpful video for us home decor lovers!🌟🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎 You’ve mentioned this many times but what elevates my home is decorative pillows with good inserts and fresh flowers weekly.🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
Hi Brandy! You’re soooo right about the fabric. I had a chenille throw that I found at home goods. Thought the color was beautiful and not gonna lie was also swayed my the price. Well, no matter where I put it; draped on a chair, on my sofa, foot of my bed, it just never looked good. It never spoke to me like it did in the store. Then it made sense. In the store it stood alone or next to all the other throws, whereas in my home it didn’t fit in with all of my other materials. Now I know lol. I stick to linen, wool or even a chunky knit during fall and winter. 😊
Ok how adorable would it look if u found a little pot that was just big enuff to have ur kleenex coming out on top of ur toilet? The rattan cover is cute but maybe for fall/winter a little pot to hold them?
Candles, baskets and lamps. Ross has some really nice heavy marble trays for cheap if you need one.
