Extended Tutorial👉 / 77414682
In this video, we'll be diving into the world of Grasshopper and exploring how to create a modular parametric facade. Inspired by the Swiss Life Arena facade, we'll be using a variety of powerful components, including Bezier Span, Tween Curves, and Split Tree, to create a modular design that can be easily customized and adapted to suit your needs. From adjusting tangent curves to modifying curve density, you'll have complete control over the final design
The extended version of this tutorial is available on our Patreon page. There you will be able to see the complete process of how to create the facade including the outer parts which are closer to the edges. This will have a similar logic but it will be a completely different definition, more complex with more details where we used a lot of vectors to get the final facade design.

The extended tutorial AND this tutorial are super valuable. Both teaches a lot. I always perform both for educational purposes. Solving and generalizing the problem in two or three ways gives a lot of experience.
Excellent work as usual.
Thanks for the kind words!
We're glad you found both tutorials helpful and you are able to gain experience by going through the material. Keep up the good work!
Whenever i watch your grasshopper video, I learn many things that i can't find over internet related to my problems in grasshopper .
Thanks a lot for your efforts.
Hi Anil! Great to hear that you have improved your Grasshopper skills through our videos. Keep crashing 💥
As always, Amazing tutorial! Very clear explained and extremely useful. Thanks for sharing! 👏
Thanks Vladislav, glad you enjoyed it!

Glad you liked it!
Great tutorial!
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Excellent video!
Thank you Stefan! Cheers!
I really like the way you explain and I recommend your channel to anyone asking about useful tutorials. What is that neat sketch-on-screen tool that you use? I usually sketch in GH or switch to whiteboard, but this looks much better
Thank you Krzysztof for your support! Glad to hear you spread the word about our channel. The sketch-on-screen tool is called Lightshot. We highly recommend it👌🏻
Nice 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Great tutorial! how do you get the name of the component above the node in the gh canvas? is it an add-in or an option?
Thanks
Thank you, glad you like it! Component names come from the plugin Sunglasses. You can download it here: www.food4rhino.com/en/app/sunglasses
great video - question for you - at the 1:45 mark, you zoom into the List Item object and all sorts of details about inputs and outputs are displayed. Where does that functionality come from?
This feature comes with Sunglasses Plugin for Grasshopper
Sir please tell about animation video which is saved in html format but I need to save it in mp4 format please help
Hey I think you replied to a post of mine on Reddit. So now I shall follow you.
I am quite often on Reddit, so probably that was me. Appreciate your support!
how do you always use the right components they are so confusing! :D thanks I learned a lot. I don't know the difference between Merge and Combine Data; it would be great if you could explain it.
Hey Soroush,
Haha, thanks for your comment! Happy you've enjoyed the tutorial!
If you'd like to take this a step further and have a complete step by step approach in learning Rhino and Grasshopper that includes our personal coaching, please reach out and send me an email at dusan@howtorhino.com if you're interested, and I can share more info on how we can help you get to a proficient level. Cheers!
merge combines lists into a single list, while combine pairs up elements from multiple lists.
Great tutorial. However I can't orient it from the opposite point 6:37 even though I've followed every step and retry the whole process. it always orient a little higher in the z axis. Do you have any idea why? :')
That’s weird, I am not really sure why you get that issue. You can send me the file at lazar@howtorhino.com and I will take a look.
@@HowtoRhino wow thank you very much! I'll send it right away, hope you have a nice day 😊
