I said that in every video, but any time you bring it up it baffles me! Why is VEGGIEMON in the filth challenge, but not GEROMON?! Also, Etemon should be a filth digimon, in regular and filth challenge hehe
As a kid I always thought digimon shouldn't die of old age. But now I recognize that as an important part of the gameplay, as it forces you to go throu the cycle of training and evolving multiple times, passing throu different digimon. And the trainning and evolving is one of the more interesting parts of this game... But there is another solution to that: Letting you have multiple digimon. You can store a Ultimate and get a new egg to start from zero. But you can, at any time, go back and take your former digimons.
PS: I don't think Survive is a STRATEGY game. It's a tactical battle game, not the same.
I'm just hafway the video, but I'll answer a few things before I forget about those, I'll probably edit later:
1. Vegiemon is there because in the original tamagochi it was considered a "filth" digimon. It is also one of the only champion digimon with only 8 techniques in the original game, just like Numemon and Sukamon... Even Nanimon has more techniques...
2. The curling video is a speedrun... but it is not a speedrun I made or a record at all... The holder of the curling speedrun record is Raikou. There is the curling challenge, which is a easier version, just to encourage people to try that and upload it.
3. The curling AI: Penguinmon tries to hit your stones, MetalMamemon focuses more on scoring.
4. While making them live forever may be nice to some people... I think the lifespan is good enough to keep your digimon a long time with you (even more with the expansion in the hack), so you can test stuff and see if you like it or not... Still, nowadays I imagine people don't have the same patience/time as before, so the death mechanic would not be liked...
5. The digimon running away has a few factors, but to put it short: if you have the same type as the digimon, they are more likely to flee... but it is still a random chance. Of course, the enemy bell and enemy repel also affect those chances...
6. I actually have posted this before, but the comment is gone... You can get Sukamon the usual way, but I recommend to do that after you have unlocked Factorial Town. I don't know if everything has already been recorded.
Appreciate what you do! Thanks for the info
