Of course, in the novel First Blood, Rambo kills himself at the police station at the end. that does make a far more sense and is more realistic. The studio didn't want to end on such a depressing note like it was all for nothing. I can understand. America needed to heal. That doesn't change the fact that it WAS all for nothing. The war, the dead, the traumatized, the violence and destruction that occurs in the film. I'm torn. I'm glad we got more rambo movies tho
