Youre wrong bro, there are bunches of them, mostly coming out of Canada. You just have to search. Rival Sons and Monster Truck are a few of them.

I had the immense pleasure of discoveering these live in 2014, and that's the best way to discover a band. They are amazing live and recorded, they are at the same time unique and reminiscent of the best 70's bands. They have their sound and vibe, as opposed to all those "rock" bands like fall out boys and nickelback, that produce the same tunes dozens of times, for utter satisfaction of teenies looking for rock.

The singer is giving me a Paul Rodgers with a hint of early Robert Plant vibe and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Even though today's music scene isn't what it used to be, it would be great to see them make it big. I know Ozzy is a big fan of these guys.
I'm hearing some Janis Joplin out of the singer too. I love singers who use their entire body.

If blues based bands are overrated that would mean the stones . Singer is amazing and respect the roots. As for new they have been on the road since 2009 . The Doors were a blues band , Led Zep........the list is endless. unfortunately today you have to be a bran and have hits to b noticed. The band have stuck with the small English label. They are great guys, intelligent and a great laugh to be around and no ego as ive met the twice

This band gives me hope for rock.
Saw them last night in San Francisco and they had to cut the show short
(only a 1 hour set) because Jay was sick. He looked like hell when they
first came out. Said they had to change the set-list because he was not
going to be able to perform some of the (more demanding) songs. Even so,
the guy really put out, they sounded excellent.
I hope he's better because they open for Black Sabbath tonight, it their
largest concert, and an important one.
Hopefully this band will start a new generation of old-school rock, because the current shit played by so many bands these days SUCKS.

I saw these guys open for Black Sabbath the other night and then again the next night in a small intimate venue. Sorry Nora to me there is nothing "forgettable" about these guys!
+Kevin Van Hill I see them headlining tomorrow night at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, a warm-up show befor opening for Black Sabbath the following two nights in the Bay Area. Really looking forward to seeing them, and headline a show for once.

Scott Holiday is maybe not Jimmy Page (but who could be worth such a Master ?), but the energy the band's got live and Jay Buchanan's great voice make it big. Rival Sons easily holds versus the early Led Zep.and sounds fucking good. ;-)
