    This looks amazing! I have a Palestinian friend that makes it slightly different. I love eating it with a fried egg. I tried it and it was delicious!

      There is a family of mujadara recipes in the Middle East. This is a regional recipe coming from Southern Lebanon, thank you and it is so good

    She didn’t put the burlgul so put it at the end of the process as it cooks the fastest

      She did she said, “ now put the onion, course burgul and lentils into a pot and let it simmer for 25 to 30 minutes” rewatch it. Course burgul is put at the end because it cooks the fastest.

      Hi Rajaa, you can reduce oil to the maximum by straining the caramelized onions through a mesh-sieve, add lentil broth to the strained caramelized onions. By that you will minimize oil to the maximum. I am just sticking to our family recipe. Xoxo

      Are you serious? This looks delicious! I am always looking for new ways to use lentils!
