Love the videos!! My current work beater car is a 2011 Subaru outback sport hatchback 5 speed manual 2.5 n/a , currently using a quart of oil every 1k miles 😂 replaced pcv valve and been doing frequent oil changes with Marvel Mystery Oil to see if it will clean up

Thanks Justin, when it gets to 3 quarts a month then may have to check into it a bit further.😅

Would’ve been a good idea to clean the hub before you put the rotor on to get a nice and smooth so you wouldn’t get any vibration later on

That hub had anti corrosion spray on it and was doing a good job, didn't want to clean that off.

make sure you torque your lug nuts, rotors tend to warp if they're not torqued properly

Thanks Bud, always torque them to 100 ft lbs. Started doing that years ago when I found I lost a lugnut or 2. Since I started torqueing them down never had a problem yet.

Sometimes it’s better to use those old tin hardware clips ,rather than the new ones that come with the aftermarket brakes they might be a tad thicker ,and caused the brake pads to bind, and your wheel to get hot.

Good point Mustangjoe, the other clips where aftermarket from 3 years ago, they still looked good and I'll hold onto them.

Nice video Bill, looks pretty simple to do. How long when to get it done when not filming?😉

Took about 15 minutes not filming. Thanks Ted.
