It makes me sad to remember Ralph because he was on the Mt. Rushmore of yt movie critics. At that you could see his charm and style oozing from the cracks of every video he made. Maybe he wouldn't have been a boxoffice blockbuster director but there's small victories he could've claimed in film making. His chaotic comedic style would slide right in with television/ streaming services. I could've seen him as a successful creative director of a television series. Dude should just drop yt and start pushing his resume to services, he fell off *hard* after the Joker review anyway. If he couldn't take yt comment criticism he'd never make it as a headline director, but like I said behind the scenes work would've suited him.
ralph probably needs to realize that there's things to be grateful and positive about in life - family, friends, a decent amount of audience on youtube. clearly kind of grew up in a good neighborhood too. life isn't all about fame, sometimes success comes to you in ways you don't expect. unless he already did and decided the route he was trying to take wasn't his true purpose/niche
you dont know how frustrating watching his descent from "pretty good reviewer" to "very bored podcast guest who has no negative opinons" to this current whatever it is
Ralph relying on drug use in his movies is pretty odd. This is a suburban film nerd college boy. He has probably never encountered a gang let alone joined one, and there's no way he's done anything harder than weed. Make movies about what you know, not about what you wish you were.
It really went downhill when he made that joker video Then got backlash and challenged Deleted it And acted like it never happened It’s crazy how with mediocrity people put him on a pedestal and assumed he was amazing and great because surely he talks a lot of shit so he must be right and now it all. He is Martienz Scorsese’s son hahahaha
His nostalgia critic video making fun of Doug was oddly poetic
