Struggling to get mine off any tips? I pried it to the point the nob lifted away from main trim. I've put it back together again. Ive read somewhere to push on the recess.
Thanks so much for this - there's a bit of an annoying squeeky rattle in my driver' door (I suspect the previous owner had the card off for one reason or another)... It's minor enough that I can ignore it most of the time, but it would be nice to slolve. I've been tempted to remove and re-fit the door card - this will be a big help if I do go down that path!
Thank you for sharing, I’d like to do the same to improve the Canton system and remove a small vibration from the door at certain frequencies. Could I ask if you felt the audio quality improve after treatment please? If so, perhaps a scale of 1-10 of improvement please? Many thanks
Its marginal. If you cover every square inch of the inner panel it could be useful I suppose to tighten up the bass or remove resonances. But the sub in the boot is so flabby I would start by working on that first. Its a big plastic box with no damping.
I'm a member of Briskoda. I have made the trunk, the bottom of the B-pillar and the wheel arches. I am missing the doors, in the front I want to put higher quality speakers. You only put bituminous sheet on the outside or did you put foam too 'Did you put foam on the inside lid? Have you noticed noise reduction since then?
Road noise? Just a little. I would strongly recommend you read through this thread at Briskoda - www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/449490-noise-insulation/ there are two key areas to treat first. 1. The boot floor. 2. The B pillar lower sill. All discussed in that thread.
It helped me to remove the door pannel to change the eletronic locking system. Thanks a lot!!!

The window master switch is pried up from the OTHER end by the knob,it comes up easily and no broken clips👍🏻

You should fill the gap between with expanding foam 😆 this will be good sound dampening 🤣
Rear door ambient light trim stopped working. Could it be changed separately or the whole door trim should be changed?
