So is it still worth buying a Switch this year if you want one? I say YES! The Switch is one of the greatest gaming consoles ever made with plenty of games to still experience in the years to come. Good video. Had my switch since 2017, was planning on buying another one due to the issues that kept popping up every other month to the point I just stopped using it. Going to wait until the next gen console for Nintendo comes out.
I have a switch OLED I definitely think it’s worth buying considering the future switch might not release with the OLED screen which is imo so much better to look at than the other 2 models.
If your thinking about getting one, def go with the OLED
I got a new switch OLED as a Christmas gift and I am looking forward to getting and playing all the mario and Zelda and both Metroid games released on the system. Plus getting all the other great hit titles released on the system.

I got a brand new OLED for 150 usd.
then I got a sh1tload of used games, all exclusives (none of then are on steam), for way cheaper than retail.
not only it's worth it, but now it's the most cost-effective it's ever been.
How long can a switch last?
As long as the other handhelds. About 10 years

Dont buy a switch in 2024 especially since theres a bunch of leaks that we will get a nintendo switch 2 by the end of the year! Save your money for that for a better console
Yeah I’m definitely excited for whatever is coming next and I’m pretty positive that’s happening sometime this year. But for anyone who really wants one thinking is it worth it, I’d argue it is and they shouldn’t go off of rumors and speculation. We have no concrete release date or promise that it’s going to be a “Switch 2”. Until Nintendo officially says something we’re all just guessing here. And they have announced games that are still coming for the Switch. It still has life left in it and, I know this is talking to a very small group of people, but if they don’t have one and want to see what it’s all about they should 100% go for it. It’s the new generation “Game Boy”, everyone will still be carrying one around with them even if they have the new console. It took me months to get my hands on the Switch when it released so there’s also the “good luck getting one at launch” argument. Everyone will have a Switch that you can play with. Only a very small few will have whatever’s next.
And pay for 70 dollar games when I can just get a v1 and jailbreak it for free?

just get a steam deck, get all switch games for free and play pc games.
Nah. I have a Steam Deck. A lot of Switch games are unavailable or run really badly.
But I still recommend getting one, though. It's amazing!!
