I'm happy to see that the teeth aren't as pink as I thought they were. It was actually the first thing to catch my eye when I got this figure, "damn, why did they make the teeth pink again.."

Very nice review, man! Loved this and the figure too. LITTLE TIP: if your T-Rex have a really tight grip (almost glued) on the left anckle joint, just pull it downwards a little, that it will loosen up.

I'd love to see a fully articulated Saurophaganax as it is my favorite Dinosaur. If not, a super articulated Carcharodontosaurid of sorts.
Revoltech joints are *not* ball joints, they're ratcheted hinges. A ball joint is a round piece that moves inside a round cavity.

I would love to see a company like Sh Monsterarts that just make museum quality super articulated dinosaurs. I'd personally love to see any dromeosaurid with feathers.
hey jc i got the same thing and my one is a lot darker with more black than brown and no white spots and mine also came with a little plastic yellow box taped to the bottom of the packaging
I would've happily paid more for a bigger T-Rex only because I'd like to see a raptor in this line that scales correctly. I like my articulation.
Id like to see a sauropod of some sort, like a brachiosaurus. Its a dinosaur icon that I think a lot of people know plus the poseability would be endless.

I kinda hope the I-rex gets some credit from the new movie and maybe toy companies like this one do an articulated toy version and papo and schleich having their own take on the I-rex.

Oddly enough, the jurassic park variant is selling for hundreds on ebay right now; where as the legacy variant is about $60.
Yeah the originals paint job is superior and the paint on the eyes and head is just better imo

that IS NOT the t-rex from Jurassic park. as much as you prattle on about it being "faithful to the original" there are several obvious differences which you clearly havnt noticed. for one the colours, as well as varying from the lost world t-rex that you reviewed previously, are completely different from the original jp rex which is plain brown. the head of the figure is also clearly a different mould, as it appears to be shorter and has larger eye crests, as well as the specks on the snout that you mentioned. and, as if all that wasn't enough, the fact that it isn't officially licenced or has any logos or other visual references that would indicate that is a Jurassic park product is a BIG GIVEAWAY! it is obvious to me that the company has taken the popular jp t-rex figure and done their own thing with it. therefore you should have given it an independent review, having not automatically assumed that it was the same figure as before in different packaging. for me as a big movie AND dinosaur fan the fact that you haven't is very troubling indeed! >:(
