I can say that Toce is a lot louder in real life than the video suggests!!! Had it on my bike for 2 days now commuting to work in London and my puny 125cc with Toce completely drowns much bigger bike with aftermarket exhausts. Accelerated from the traffic lights together with Ducati monster with Akrapovic and all you could hear was my little Grom =D

There is only so much we can do to capture the sound accurately. Reproduction of the sound on our viewers end also has a lot to do with their speakers and sound system. It's great that you left this comment as interested people can also get your opinion in addition to our video sound test. Thanks.

Not sure about the exhaust noise level at MOT centers but tail tidy should pass, I ve seen plenty of bike in London with similar rear ends set ups. Will have to wait almost a year to find out about this exhaust thou

Dmitri Felbinger Thanks. My biggest concern is actually the tail tidy. I think it's easier to switch back to the stock exhaust for the MOT or just make sure the only you install is MOT compliant.

Toce sounds the best IMO. The dual pipes make it sound like it has more cylinders. The others are pretty much the same just varying levels of loudness. The toce also looks the best. Big single cans on the side of the grom don't quite look right given the proportions. More companies should do the under tail design.

Motorcycles do not have to require a catalytic converter. The EPA has no rules set apon it. But it also depends on your states rules.

How do you rank these exhaust loudest to quietest? I'm guessing power should be fairly similar except for the OEM?

I would say that the power/torque production is very similar, unless you take each one to the dyno and tune it to its potential. There is no such thing as bolt on power...unless you just like to hear noise. This is especially true with small displacement. A magician with a dyno will find you what is available, provided you can pay for the time. Most people just want the bolt on stuff that is middle of the road performance wise, because getting the extra 5% is not worth paying for it.

A tune is not required, but you will not take advantage of the potential of a full exhaust unless you dyno tune to your setup. I would recommend going to a reputable dyno shop that can do that for you.

It doesn't matter how big the bike is. The investment to design, test, and produce any exhaust system is very large. Then a business has to recoup the cost of the R&D, along with the cost of materials and labor to make every single exhaust. Not to mention marketing, promotions, insurances, etc. It all ads up. The price tag on this exhaust is very competitive among other full exhausts for this bike. If you want to save money....keep your stock exhaust.

These bikes aren't like your 600 or 1000. They're not running too high of an RPM. These only hit about 60mph and you can't get on a freeway because they're not fast enough unless you do other mods. These are just for riding around popping wheelies and have fun. Just cruising around running errands with 2 gallons of fuel with a range of 150miles.
