I can't agree with that only because I was listening to the podcast from day one and it was good & funnywith Marissa and But Mal bought something different to the podcast , I really can relate to Mal because before him I was deemed with having fucked a up way of thinking , Mal showed me there are other niggas like my self lol
Marcus TMC he brings that pure chill vibe to the Podcast. He's not just saying shit to say it, he has points and has something to say when he does speak. Mal seems mad cool, real down to earth dude.
Great conversation. I've been watching The Joe Budden podcast since the beginning but could never pinpoint why I liked Mal so much. This conversation here just gave me the answer. We are so similar. I find that many things he says and ideologies he has completely mirror my own. Shout outs to all of you. This was great.
@@damienscott9654 personally I can watch 2 different podcasts on Wednesday lol.... But I get what you saying, Tax's podcast was the shit but respect to Joey, Rory and Mal because they do they thang.
On JB podcast, he’s basically a co-host, not a guest. So it’s not really designed for him to talk this much. Joe runs the show and Mal/Rory chime in as appropriate.
Qua 817 Yes they do. Trust me I listen to every episode. They’re actual friends as well. So Joe doesn’t have to ask him those personal questions that would have him reveal much. Hence why he doesn’t have as much to say as Joe does on the show.
Yeah Joe always brings up Biggs.. "My big brother was Biggs brother, used to be dame and Biggs brother. Playing that song every time Roc comes up, Mal always tells him to quit playin! Mal wants to make his own name/lane and it shows by him differentiating from talking bout it all the time. And damn niggas snitching?? Lmao. Ozerec Barmonsterz.
We hope you guys enjoy our next episode of Grass Routes Podcast! Great interview with Mal highlighting his experience with The Joe Budden Podcast, being humble, Jay Z being an influence and his brother Kareem "Biggs" Burke. Let us know who else you would like to see on our podcast!
Dwight Stewart Definitely. After Joe fired Marissa, him and Rory seemed like they hated each other and he picked on Rory (more than the usual jokes). Mal came in cool and calm. He’s the voice of reason and doesn’t let Joe slide on topics.
Lol that was a hell of a miss direction he threw on her with black men don’t cheat. She obviously talkn about in a male female relationship and he brought it so deep she had to be like “ya I agree” 😂
Dirigo UA-cam lol nah she just didn't want to press it because it would have made the interview awkward. Black men are typically the most unfaithful. The shirt is just a joke.
He throw her off with a overly deep reply that digressed from the point of the simple slogan on his T Shirt and she didn't want to fight back on a reply all tho not on point was giving a interesting perspective on Black Man's talent, power and influence to culture while being held back.
Yo, I’m a new watcher but avid listener of the Joe Budden podcast so I’m familiar with both gentlemen so this is coming from a place of respect. Could you add some running white noise in the background or something? Because when you guys speak the constant punching in and of the noise is kinda not the most pleasant thing to hear. Great podcast ✊🏾
T D they need to just find a sense of humor like the Joe podcast.. I like this joint n hearing how mal thinks but you gotta be funny n talk shit alil too
One thing about 90's or "old heads" is they have a distorted view of the past because they have emotional attachment to it. I'm a Tupac fanatic (have a tattoo and all) but even I'm able to acknowledge how much damage "thug culture" had on our generation. The smart were able to see where a Tupac or a 50 Cent were coming from. The idiots took it and ran with it. Unfortunately there's been just as been cons as pros from the golden era of rap. One thing I'll say about this generation is that they promote positivity and acceptance more and that's not a bad thing. Poppin pills is wack and wearing dresses isn't my thing but overall these new kids aren't promoting violence as much as the hip-hop we grew up on did.
Because People Take What They Wanna Take From People...We All Have Different Perspectives...We Could All Watch The Same Movie & Draw To Different Things Some People See Tupac & Be Like I Wanna Be The Most Gangsta Nigga Ever Or I Wanna Be As Smart As Him Or I Wanna Be A Great Writer Like Him & ETC BUT! The Violence Level Is The Same To Me
Dats cuz the golden age was during the tale end of the crack epidemic the violence in the music was a reflection of the times...if u weren't at least 14 by 1996 u wouldn't understand
Zo Rose True and I’m a 90s dude. Old head. Tupac was smart but not as smart as people say cause you can’t be that smart and do all that dumb shit. Over and over again. Now I disagree that we promoted violence. It was violent and we lived it so we talked about it and defended ourselves against it. These kids promote what they aren’t and that’s the problem. That’s why so many are pilled and why they die so quick as artists. In the streets people die but until Tupac and Big artists didn’t die. You were out of the street you just broadcast the issues.
cool vibe. i think it woulda been great to have gone into mal's thinking when he said "relationships are worth more than money." woulve been cool to hear him expand on that
