Steelhead's Turkey Tank Tom Burst Test

Turkey Tank Tom is an 8L / 2 gallon COPV (Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel) designed to operate at 100 bar/1500 psi with a 3x safety factor. We use these low-cost cylinders to characterize carbon fiber strength and new designs.
Our customers use higher pressure versions of this vessel for various aerospace and marine applications. Generally, however, our customers do not request the construction paper accoutrements.
