"We assume time is narrow because it is as a clock - one second is one second for everyone! Cause precedes effect - fruit rots, water flows downstream. We're born, we age, we die. The reverse never happens... None of this is true! Say goodbye to classical reality, because our logic collapses on the subatomic level... into ghosts and shadows."
"The Outside world doesn't want to hear this kind of bullshit, just keep it locked away. You've already managed that for 2,000 years!" Awesome! Every time I think of a movie ambience you beat me to the punch. Great job! ...
Found this channel, saw you had some Carpenter soundscapes, and immediately serched for Prince of Darkness.....Found it...........please beyond belief. Thanks a ton!
Colonna sonora inarrivabile di un film grandemente onirico. La commistione tra sacro e profano, tra fede e scienza, tra credo e fisica quantistica è immensamente riuscita.
Is it just me or does anyone else notice quite a few similarities between the prince of darkness's and Halloween 4's ambience. I mean it kinda makes sense really, prince of darkness released a year before Halloween 4, so I imagine the composer of H4 looked at some other John Carpenter scores for influence. Compare this to H4's ambience and you can see number of melodies are very similar, even the general pacing matches a lot. Still like both though.
Alan Howarth was responsible for the H4 soundtrack and collaborated with John Carpenter, among other movies, on the soundtrack of Prince of Darkness. So yes, it is entirely possible that Howarth took inspiration from his previous work :)

Very underrated Carpenter film with a another top notch JC soundtrack ... this accompanies it perfectly, great work!
Thank you very much for this. This is one of Carpenter's best scores ever!
This is fantastic. Captures the feel of the film perfectly.

‘We are transmitting for the purpose of causality violation…..but this is not a dream.’
Thank you so much for this, I've already added it to my play list!
Easily one of the greatest horror movies ever made
I love this channel, keep up the good work
I used to feel comfortable around giant cylinders of strange swirling green liquid, but this movie ruined that for me.
Nice 👍🏻 work !!
Thank you!
Hell yes!
I've got a message for you, and you're not going to like it.
This is not a dream.
Hey Alienworlds, do you take requests? If so, how about a They Live Soundscape?
I'll look into it 👽

Maybe a bit. However, Prince of Darkness is 100. H4 is more of an 85. Both a good listen though.

This movie was too silly.
If you saw it in real life it wouldn’t be silly then hu! Yuaaa different story then!
True. Not a bad movie. Just wacky in parts.
