If she stop annoying about what is happening at Ukraine, and trying people to feel sorry for her, she would be a great tennis player, everybody knows what is happening there, stop reminding us now and then

The fans in the event were pressuring more than Marta for the reminder , she stood with them.

      It’s crazy
      Annoying 😰
Reading comments here is the one of the most anti humanistic thing I’ve seen for a while.
Man, it’s a the biggest War in Europe since WW2.
It’s terible genocide that the whole world can’t stop. People dying every day.
Every day! I have to go and hide from the rockets and my friends are dying on the front line.
      And it’s not a movie!
That someone from the country in war talks about it annoys you?
      Human without a heart.
Better repost a post or donate in Ukraine.
And you have no shame to write it here…
      Shame on you

Kostyuk is a good player but she does not endear herself to neutral audience by politicizing tennis events. Sport arena is not a place to demonstrate your political stance/view or show your hate/love to your fellow players for political reasons

      And where she should?
Back in Kyiv where rockets are flying?
Everyone from Ukraine (and not only) should shout about the world in all ways possible!
When the war is in your country it stops being political, it just your life!
It’s politic for you, but not for us, it’s our every day life!

True to your words the players in the event have nothing to do with political affairs in their home country, but Marta felt its time for the world to listen to her mother country cries and give a helping hand .

@@OTripleS so now you call a war - political affair?
Politics its.. (wiki) is the set of activities that are associated with making decisions in groups, or other forms of power relations among individuals, such as the distribution of resources or status.
      Does it sound as war?
War is (wiki) an intense armed conflict[a] between states, governments, societies, or paramilitary groups such as mercenaries, insurgents, and militias.
People in Ukraine that wanted to stay out of politics are in war.
Staying out of politics doesn’t help people not to die!

@@OTripleS let’s imagine something that will never happen.
Someone robes your house and kills your family.
You survive. This people are too powerful to go to jail (money, power in the city) And they continue to kill.
      You can only watch.
      You are angry.
And one day you play football, and against you it happens to plays one of the representatives of this killers, maybe one of them, maybe someone who protects them.
And you even can not to play with him because of the rules. You and person connected to death of you family.
Will you think about politics at this moment ?
      Or about your personal story?
Will you play with them? Will you be friendly?
In this war everyone lost a friend or a relative. It ruined a life of each family. And you really think it’s political? It’s more than personal, more. Much more
