Suggest an artist for Octave Records

How about using your existing artists to do a compilation cover album. Especially 60/70s music. They can do a DSD cover of popular older tracks that wasn't recorded back then in great quality. Make that a yearly thing. This way the audience also get to hear familiar music in great quality. The artist can do his/her cover in a style/genre he/she chooses.

There are tons of people I would love to hear recorded at a quality offered by octave, but I am guessing they can't be under contract with any other label. I understand why that is the case, but it is a shame. Your recording process is something special. Is it selfish of me to want it to be available to any artist that might want to hire Octave's recording services?
Not selfish at all! We'd certainly consider working with artists that come to us with great music and good ideas.
If she was still alive Eva Cassidy would have been the perfect voice to record in DSD.
Please don't sell yourself short. You are a great musician and have a beautiful voice Jessica. I look forward to you producing another album someday. Keep up the good work.

Racheal Price who sings with the band Lake Street Dive and on her own projects. She is an amazing singer. A rich voice I am sure would shine on DSD.

Jessica I'm in the UK and I have thoughts on a annual change of new TALENT! It's so straight forward but it would take a bit of work! but once the groundwork is done then it will keep giving!!

James McMurtry (USA), Lucie Thorne (AUS) Both of these singer/songwriter artists take great care to make good sounding records. So on Octave they'd sound even more fabulous.
