Good ole EMD power that’s what a engine room should look like clean and organized my boats engine room isn’t there yet but I keep on working on it I will have clean and spotless on the next hitch
Don’t assume. I believed the bullshit rumors I heard also. They are a good company, and great people to work with. ..And I’ve worked with quite many companies tripping. 👍🏻
Wow...lovely clean engine room. Some tankers i worked on were the same. As for those lovely EMD's ...sweet music to my ears. I work for Irish Rail and our locos are GM. Our 071 class has the 645 engine and the 201 class have the 710 engine.
That much professional pride puts what is under the bonnet (hood) of my car to shame. That’s one spotless like brand-spanking-new engine room. Wouldn’t mind a good long linger and look around. Thanks for the view.
The chief engineer that rides this boat is top notch. I wanted folks to see how hard he works to keep things not only running perfectly, but looks pretty as well. 👍🏻
You are very correct. That’s where this girl came from. I would have to look. I can’t remember if she is from late 1970s or she was from 1980s, but she was one of the many bobtail Vikings built up there.
Note to cammer; SLOW DOWN with your movements! Fast panning left to right and up and down create a bad viewer experience. Better to stand in place for a few moments and pan around slowly. Then move to next location. Otherwise interesting to see the inner workings of a well maintained tow boat.
really poor video moving camera so fast no time to see anything and only someone who is working a tow boat would know what anything there was. Note to self do not watch any more of this channel.
That was a random video that popped up on my feed Either way the Bernard G what's smaller then the Beverly Ann and the Frank alter unless power of course but it was from Dravo and it handled better than that triple screw Beverly Ann or the Frank Alter they were all nice boats but I liked that Dravo 100% more
40 years old and maintenance makes it look like it hasn't aged a bit.
Hospital clean and squared away, that's the mark of a great engineering force, Chief Engineer and Captain. Thanks for the tour!
you can tell the chief is proud of his department , nice video captain, take care. smooth sailing

So much more room to view those prime movers as compared to the cramped confines of a locomotive carbody....Thanks Captain! Good vids lately!
Trains don’t need to float.
Less is better for train.
That seems like common sense type deal. 👍🏻
They are not display models on either. They have dedicated purposes with each.
That place was so clean I would eat off the floor great job on that
Would never of guess a western rivers boat to be this clean.
Don’t assume.

Ship shape, it looks as clean and neat as a new boat, big thumbs up to the crew.
My dad worked for Dravo in the 50s and 60s....this brings back memories. Thanks for the tour. That boat isn,t squared away....it,s A J squared away.
I’m giving it all she’s got captain!
You can see the pride by those that work in that engine room.
That rudder room is something!
Very clean,,them EMD s ain't no joke,
Wow she has had some TLC over the years. Fantastic to see!
That is so clean it looks like new....
Stay safe out there Captain 🙏
Very nice..This is one clean ship.......

@@marktwained Cheers, sir! 🇬🇧
Nice well kept engine room and support areas. But please, on your next video SLOW down. I almost got vertigo trying to follow.
This is very cool! for those of us who would like to get on a tow and probably never will thanks for showing this!!
Thanks for the tour.
Really clean and well maintained.
Man that thing is in amazing shape!
Now that’s cool!
Spotless engine room you could eat off the floor.
Spectacular
The poor spare head needs a nice corner to hide in. It doesn't like being out in the spotlight.
Awesome!!
Dang someone takes care of that place.
Chief engineer Dennis has worked tirelessly to have this girl running and looking great. It is a pleasure to work with folks like that.
dravo built many of those on neville island PA and i bet the most of any builder on the rivers

I appreciate this!
I couldn’t help but think I was watching a James Bond video . Lol
Thanks for sharing
That looks identical to the 6,000 I used to ride for Canal Barge company. It was built in the 1970s. Not sure if it was a Dravo
That ole girl still looks like new
Well the boys handling the maintenance on that engine room dies a fantastic job all the way down to mopping the floors when was it last refurbished
Clean!
how many hours will those big boys run before overhaul
30,000-40,000 hours…. I think
Pleas slow down with the camera movement.

Is that the Riley Elizabeth?
M/V Stone Strait
WHAT'S THE NAME OF THE ''PUSHER'' ?
You should have let the engineer give the tour, You are in to big of hurry to get out of there.
I got exactly the footage I wanted.
Not doing it for anyone but myself.
You get what you get from me, sir.
Is that 650 ton net ?
Do you carry extra powerpacks?
Yes
SUGGESTION: SLOW DOWN ON SWINGING THE CAMERA AROUND. ITS GOD AWFUL ON THE EYES...HAHA!
I try to remember. 👍🏻
When was its overhaul?
Don’t really know, on this girl.
Can anybody watch this without v*miting ??

Note to self? Seems like a square shot at me. 🤷🏼♂️
