Thank you for posting this first of all. I really like this kids arm....It will be interesting to see where he gets drafted. Teams that need a qb like KC Chiefs may come a knockin!!!
I gotta admit, Robert Griffin is growing on me. He's got excellent accuracy and I love that he always keeps his eyes down field and looks to pass first, only scrambling when his options are covered. I would like to see him throw the ball away more and shy away from contact better than he is now, that hero attitude will lead to a lot of injuries in the NFL. I still have him as my 4th QB, but he's gaining ground and has a ton of time to up his stock. So many good QB's in this upcomming draft
I'm a Tennessee fan but this kid is the most fun to watch player in the country bar none! What he did to Oklahoma after stoops got greedy and called his timeout literally made me fall in love with this kid lol him and Vick are so fun to watch and I'm not comparing those two cause they are far from the same but I'm just saying they both do some unhuman like things and it's just worth every second I get to see talent like this especially when it's a humble kid like RG3 he deserves the heisman if
RG3 is something special. From his mechanics, athletic ability, intelligence and the class that he displays. If he keeps this up he will definitely be a finalist in the heisman running. Might even give Luck a run for his money for the first pick in the draft.
Robert Griffin III was measured at 6'2 and 3/8", 223 at the combine. Have you ever heard of Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Michael Vick, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, Alex Smith, Drew Brees, Jay Cutler, Andy Dalton, Matt Flynn, Matt Hasselbeck, Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, and John Elway? All are +/- 2", but most are about 6'2" 225 except Stafford is 230ish. You may be right on not holding up by running but it won't be because of 1 and 5/8" in height. Thanks for uploading btw :)
RG3 is great at the deep ball indeed, but baylor also had a terrific supporting cast that augmented each other offensively, Big 12's leading rusher, a tight end that transferred fro mStanford's tightend centric system (the only man to ever play with Luck and RG3), and four speedy wideouts, including one that will likely be a first round pick, big bruising o-line as well.
This was a great win for Baylor, and the closes thing Baylor has come to playing a real team. TCU has lost alot of their starters they had last year, and are rebuilding. Griffin is a great QB with great stats, although I like to see how he does against real teams instead of HS teams they have been playing.
You don't remember Mark Rypien? He and Jeff Blake were some of the very best deep passers ever. Maybe not the best QBs but definitely had some kind of gift going downfield.
@pumagear This is a no brainer. If he's avaiable we have to drafted him. Based on how this season is going so far we will have the opportunity to take either RG3 or Barkley.
Can't believe how under rated he is and i'm not a baylor fan. He has more td passes, more passing yards and rushing yards but Luck is first and he is last in the heisman race. Some bull
@SquishyYabor he doe seem small... that being said his arm seems deadly accurate. My only concerns are that through this video he rarely progresses past his first read which would be disastrous in the NFL. Also his step u before his delivery is another second the defence gets to read where his pass is going before he throws it. Should be really interesting to watch
Mark Rypien? What was I thinking?! I remember during the 91 season, it seemed like everytime he went up top to any member of "The Posse", they would just get right underneath it. Forgot about Jeff Blake. I remember those rainbows he used to hurl to Carl Pickens and Darnay Scott.
Of course not just 1 game. Ive seen every Griffin game from this season. I have cut 6 or 7 others that are up. I have some other "?" s as well not just physical aspects. I dont think he will bust but I dont think he lives up to the 2nd pick either
The Russian commentary is almost as good as the video. This guy, who clearly is also a high competency English speaker, should be doing play by play. In at least one of the languages.
I dont think he will hold up because of his slight frame in a divison loaded with pass rushers. ACL is just an injury example of a bad injury already. Griffin is nowhere near the runner Vick is. Vick is elusive in the open field and he still takes a huge amount of hits. Griffin will take a lot more straight on hits if he trys to run
@MrTony1540 that is true, however, I dont trust Shannys Decision making, especially at the QB position (Beck and Sexy Rexy. Really?). Maybe Shannahan should send Bruce a list of his top 5 College Qbs and Bruce tell him to pick RG3 when the time comes. We have to have that guy
@monstersheder Since Carroll isn't an offensive coach I don't think he would be good at developing him. However, Darrel Bevel (Seahawks OC) can develop quarterbacks.
@McBro30 Im telling you though there is the notion from people who dont know much about RG III that if you talk about it him the first thing they question is how good of a passer he is or how accurate he is? why?it's just a wrong perception that i also think this guy has because RG III can absolutely be a pocket passer so your going to knock a guy because he can run well when he has to.He is a pass first QB than scrambles when he has to just like any other QB.he's just a better runner than most.
Vick had a serious ankle injury back in the mid 2000s in a preseason game against the ravens, went to jail for a year and look at him now he's still shifier than ever.RG3 will be just fine, you said you could see him not holding up what are you a physician who had a copy of his acl x rays, if not I think you have no idea how his acl will hold up.
I think Matt Barkley and Landry Jones are slightly overrated. In my opinion, RG3 is the best pro QB prospect in college football other than Luck. He has the brains, he has the arm and he has the legs.
He's accurate, he can run, and he can throw deep, but I HATE his throwing motion. It's way too low. That's his only major drawback as a pro QB. I don't think he'll do well in the pros with that throwing motion. I also wish he could be a little bigger. At his size, a big hit can knock him out. For comparison, Cam Newton is four inches taller and 30 pounds heavier and probably won't get injured. Vick is one inch shorter and 10 pounds lighter and gets hurt all the time.
@j23wallacewow lol at making this a race issue. There was not a single hint of him talking about white vs black qbs he was clearly saying he prefers pocket passers which is what he meant by standard qbs
@rickcuban322 what do you mean standard qb's. What does that mean? you mean white? Griffin is one of the best passers in the country that also has the ability to run. 4000 yards passing with over 70% completions. are you serious? what do you mean by standard qb bro?
And he won't be doing many QB draws against linemen and linebackers in the NFL, he will use his legs for scrambling and finding someone down field as opposed to finding yards and when he does, he will obviously slide or scurry out of bounds instead of taking a huge hit.
And Vick is no where the passer RG3 is. He has better potential than Vick ever did because of his passing ability, he will use his legs to get out of pressure situations more than actually just running for yards.
I always said that Troy Aikman was the most accurate deep thrower I have ever seen. This is coming from a Redskins fan. However, I have to say that RGIII is almost MONEY on deep throws. Good grief!
@skylasman112009 firstly you need to relax. clearly he doesnt just run it will be intruiging to see what he can do at the nfl level. As for Tebow and the Broncos how long do you think it will be till teams can properly scheme a defence against it. I give them a couple more weeks.
He's fast, no doubt about it. But nowhere near as elusive as Michael Vick. He needs to work on his footwork too. But with all that said, I look forward to him torching Dallas this Thanksgiving!
He i a straight line runner. He isnt as shity as Vick, even Cam is a better runner. Griffins frame is a real "?" has a past ACL tear I could see him not holding up
@stephen121000 Baylor still has #7 Texas A&M and #9 Oklahoma State on the road. then #1 Oklahoma and #24 Texas at home left on the schedual. First 5 games will be easy. Big 12 play is where it gets tough and where they can shine the brightest. picture this. undefeated Baylor at home vs undefeated #1 Oklahoma. Baylor crowd would be estatic.
@sandman1347 Barkley is far from overrated, he is a great prospect. Jones on the other hand, is atrociously overrated. If a team drafts him in the 1st they will deeply regret it. RGIII is an incredible prospect, from mobility to personality to mental makeup, but needs to work on his footwork.
@richboy0504 Nope, his arm is much better although he doesn't have the running ability they have. He's more like a Josh Freeman, but not as big. He'll probably end up as a talented 2nd stringer in the NFL. It's hard to be an elite QB in the NFL at 6'2 and under. Phillip Rivers, Josh Freeman, Big Ben, both mannings, tom brady (and the list goes on) are all above 6'2. Aaron Rodgers, Brees, and Vick are the only QBs that are the exception. He doesn't possess those skills. Tony Romo sucks.
Dang! I was just getting into a new language....Polish? Nyet! Nyet! Russian....and then....right when I'm almost there? with just 2 mins. left .....I'm beginning to understand....RG3 Is For Real! Poof! Where's the last 2 minutes!? Dang!
Thank you for posting this first of all. I really like this kids arm....It will be interesting to see where he gets drafted. Teams that need a qb like KC Chiefs may come a knockin!!!
that flea flicker with him catching and taking that massive hit was an awesome play
Highlights are really good. Kid's gunna be great for 1 of my teams i hope. Great video man
I'm a Tennessee fan but this kid is the most fun to watch player in the country bar none!

@JMPasq
that is alright, still great highlights!
@OTKP If I knew this video would get these views I wouldnt of rushed this video out. This version was up first so I grabbed it.
I love the touch he puts on his deep throws.
Robert Griffin III was measured at 6'2 and 3/8", 223 at the combine. @OTKP Yeah forgot to turn off the audio

Thansk for watching.Plenty more of Griffin up on th e playlist.I also have another vid on the Jmpasqdraftjedi channel
favorite player in the draft, if anything id be concerned about his durability and toughness, seems to take a while after a big hit
This is when RG3 had his breakout year!!! Freshman & Sophmore years were so under-rated!!!!
I hope this guy can transition in the NFL. If he stays, Baylor should run a more pro style offense next year to raise his stock
Honestly, RG3 would be a perfect fit for the Raiders. He has the speed AND the arm and can take on a lot of defenses.
You don't remember Mark Rypien? He and Jeff Blake were some of the very best deep passers ever. Maybe not the best QBs but definitely had some kind of gift going downfield.
this guy is good top 5 qb in my opinion for 2012 class along with andrew luck, landry jones, matt barkley, and nick foles.
@pumagear This is a no brainer. If he's avaiable we have to drafted him. Based on how this season is going so far we will have the opportunity to take either RG3 or Barkley.
@sOsSpArTa Cam doesn't have throwing motion problems. Just struggles with Accuracy sometimes.
Can't believe how under rated he is and i'm not a baylor fan. He has more td passes, more passing yards and rushing yards but Luck is first and he is last in the heisman race. Some bull
We did it , we did it. NO ONE WANTED US WE DID IT. WE DID IT , bAYLOR lets go Green and Gold. the step child of Texas football is now the Top.
@SquishyYabor he doe seem small... that being said his arm seems deadly accurate. My only concerns are that through this video he rarely progresses past his first read which would be disastrous in the NFL. Also his step u before his delivery is another second the defence gets to read where his pass is going before he throws it. Should be really interesting to watch
even the Russians love RG3!
RG3 BEAST
All the wr he was throwin to in the nfl now
Jim Brown used to do that too, though. That way, when he really did feel hit bad, they didn't know which play it was on.
The commentator is auditioning to be the lead actor in the next Borat movie
Best arm in the draft by far.
Of course not just 1 game. Ive seen every Griffin game from this season. I have cut 6 or 7 others that are up. I have some other "?" s as well not just physical aspects. I dont think he will bust but I dont think he lives up to the 2nd pick either
tcu would've won if we could have made our damn field goals!! bittersweet game though.
If you listen to the russian at 0:15 - 0:18 in the video, he starts talking about Hines Ward and the Pittsburgh Steelers....
Is this the next cam Newton or Michael Vick?
The Russian commentary is almost as good as the video. This guy, who clearly is also a high competency English speaker, should be doing play by play. In at least one of the languages.
after the first 2 minutes i thought i might be watching Kendall Wright highlights.. Jesus H. !!
I dont think he will hold up because of his slight frame in a divison loaded with pass rushers. ACL is just an injury example of a bad injury already. Griffin is nowhere near the runner Vick is. Vick is elusive in the open field and he still takes a huge amount of hits. Griffin will take a lot more straight on hits if he trys to run
cool man whats TCU D FENCE rank over 80
@MrTony1540 that is true, however, I dont trust Shannys Decision making, especially at the QB position (Beck and Sexy Rexy. Really?). Maybe Shannahan should send Bruce a list of his top 5 College Qbs and Bruce tell him to pick RG3 when the time comes. We have to have that guy

congrats on winning the heisman award

But WTF is up with the Commentary?!?!? LOL
In Soviet Russia, footballs throw Robert Griffen.
@450rmack What hit? He was turned around.
@j23wallacewow lol at making this a race issue. There was not a single hint of him talking about white vs black qbs he was clearly saying he prefers pocket passers which is what he meant by standard qbs
Why didn't UT recruit him??
@rickcuban322 what do you mean standard qb's. What does that mean? you mean white? Griffin is one of the best passers in the country that also has the ability to run. 4000 yards passing with over 70% completions. are you serious? what do you mean by standard qb bro?

The commentator is still better than Brent Musburger.
Dear Pete Carroll and John Schneider,
DRAFT HIM!!!!!
You should be! In fact, I have been talkin shit to many of the Cowboys fans at my job. They agree with me.
1:48. U can't sell a play action pass like that
i see nothing here that says he will succeed at the professional level. that is a high school offensive scheme.
RG3 is a beast
@skylasman112009 firstly you need to relax. clearly he doesnt just run it will be intruiging to see what he can do at the nfl level. As for Tebow and the Broncos how long do you think it will be till teams can properly scheme a defence against it. I give them a couple more weeks.
He's so lanky.
I'd be worried about him getting hurt in the NFL.
A poor mans Cam Newton. Which isnt a bad thing
Well that's not weird at all.
He's fast, no doubt about it. But nowhere near as elusive as Michael Vick. He needs to work on his footwork too. But with all that said, I look forward to him torching Dallas this Thanksgiving!
The Arm
@Churchbeatradio Shannahan is a much better judge of talent than Bruce Allen. I'm sure he can see that RG3 is a great qb that can help this team win.
He is like colin kapernake
IM..IM SORRY I DONT SPEAK SPANISH(Ron burgundy voice)
He i a straight line runner. He isnt as shity as Vick, even Cam is a better runner. Griffins frame is a real "?" has a past ACL tear I could see him not holding up

@kiyanp121 If Bruce Allen steps in and saves Shannahan from himself!
Pure Passer
@sandman1347

Ridiculous number of screen plays...
Should of went to the Colts
Dang! I was just getting into a new language....Polish? Nyet! Nyet! Russian....and then....right when I'm almost there? with just 2 mins. left .....I'm beginning to understand....RG3 Is For Real! Poof! Where's the last 2 minutes!? Dang!
Redskkinnsssssss
anybody notice the TCU safety back off the hit at 2:00? What a wuss.
english please
@NFLREALTalk RG3 is a better athlete then Cam Newton
