Very nice review, just bought the ECB-10 , very similar except for its a bit bigger and no solar . I hope casio digs deeper in Bluetooth functionality to compete with todays smart watch’s , keeping this style , no screen and with health stuff and recharging methods , I’m sure lots of people will go for it and I’m one of them
No Google wears, I meant keeping a physical watch as it is but improve the software like Amazfit and Huawei have their own software and work flawlessly on both android and IOS throw their own app

Great and thorough review. I was considering this watch until I saw the bad visibility of the LCD screens from any angle other than straight up. That's a no go for me. Maybe they'll make a version with white LCDs or MIP LCDs then I'll reconsider. Thanks.
It's a great choice. I have found solar movements VERY reliable. As long as you keep them exposed to a light source, they are good to go. I have solar watches that I still haven't had to change a batter on 15 years later.

I noticed the Honda Racing Championship White Edition (ECBS100HR-1A) from Edifice for preorder, so that's what I opted for. This will be my first watch from the Edifice line and I'm anxious for it to arrive 😎

It's a really nice looking watch. It reminds me of a Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster A-T. Having the phone app is a HUGE bonus. I've had a couple of Citizen Promaster and Skyhawk watches and getting through the digital screens for any reason is a real PITA. Casio seems to have solvved that problem.

Hey Robert, congratulations! Negative displays are most visible in better lighting conditions. I try to optimize my lights for the best views on camera, but in room lighting it will tend to be dimmer than outdoor in daylight which should be ideal.
Thank you very much. I size these to where I could fit my finger between the bracelet and my wrist. Sometimes the arm hair on the sides make it appear tighter than it actually is.

Thanks for watching and taking time to comment. It’s normal for watches to be discounted. Just make sure it comes with box and papers and you pay by credit card or PayPal so you are covered. I haven’t heard of fakes with this watch.
The watch can be controlled by a mobile phone via Bluetooth. I would be very interested if the phone can accurately set the time of the watch according to Internet Time Servers.
I was thinking this was an international release, if you go to the Casio website, you should be able to contact them, they are always helpful. I don't typically give pricing as there are always specials and price changes over time. Thank you for watching, hope that helps.
It looks very, vey large on your wrist, I think it's a pretty large watch and I don't think suits your wrist size at all. I've got an ECB500 that will connect the phone but won't register any more, so I have to set it manually now..

Which makes the watch a basic anaolg watch with childishly mascaraded dial. b) the "transformes-supeheroes" styling of the dial does not look goog with classy casing, plus makes it harder to read even the analog time) If Casio'd put SLIGHTLY more thought into design - that COULD have been a great watch.
you need active bluetooth on your phone. you press a certain buttom on the watch for 5 seconds and then your phone (ie the connected app) will play a sound
As long as you've paired a watch, you would hold the bottom right button for 5 seconds. If the phone is within Bluetooth range, you will set off the sound on your phone.
Yeah but its silly becouse after 3 or 5 minutes is auto disconnect it from conection? So for example if i want randomly to check my phone means i cant "locate my phone" becouse shoud be connected between 3 or 5 min and only at this time to use phone finder or i am wrong ?

These updates are so far advanced from the older ones. This is the best one in my opinion.

On the alarm part, I saw it is Daily on your video, can you set it weekly? For example to alarm 8am every Monday only?

this surely ticked lots of boxes for me :) was an instant buy when i saw it on sales.

I’d guess there might be ever so slight latency, but I find it to be accurate

What's the Lug width?
I believe it is 22mm at the lug, tapers down to 20mm at the clasp.
