This is amazing. I love it bro. Can you please tell me, was this made with 3D scanning or created manually in 3D softwares? If manually than what softwares were used? One of them must be ZBrush. Because it looks super detailed
The only problem I see is everyone is using technology to avoiding actually doing smart maps. The size of this map for example is atrocious. We don't want super detailed 1 million K res detailed textures, this is why the old Unreal Tournament games were faster. For Presentation modelling sure this looks fantastic, but for detailed? We could of stopped at the original xbox with Serious Sam and the Egypt Maps, even today it holds up with high end detailed res textures. I want to play a fast map not a map that takes ages to load, awe big environments etc. I think the gaming industry needs to take a step back here and 5 gb MAPS are not the answer, this is what happened to Forte Night, days and days downloading updates and load times that were pathetic.
no just no we in the contrary are in needs for such high quality detailed models and textures especially with the upcoming unreal engine 5 nanite feature, there is new compression technologies kicking behind the new gpus (of which is nvidia RTX IO) for the textures sizes :)
