He is eccentric in his way that he seeks to remove the spirituality from the music form and sings them as just songs and not as Bhakti Yoga. His way of thinking is influenced by the left, that's why he doesn't sing Ganapathy first.
Giriprasad Raghuraman do not brand him as left. He is just a true human being only. His commitment to music is outstanding and his knowledge in parallel. He articulate the inborn thread of Carnatic music to the core. He could accept all form of music, and music accept all form irrespective of their origin.
