BOAT MAKEOVER [uk boat life]

So (lady Margaret) has had a full makeover, a lovely wrap anti-foul and a full 300hr service. But this makeover didn’t come without its own problems.
I had everything lined up and planned out, but things just kept getting in the way the rubbing down was much harder than we imagined , the weather was to hot to do the wrap on day one so it had to be finished the next day and the engine service had to be postponed for a week which left me high and dry in Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne East Sussex. For another week but it’s finally done and I’m pretty impressed with the way that it’s come out.

That’s a fantastic job! She looks absolutely fantastic… all the hard work and obviously money well worth it!

I have a Parker 660 Pilothouse too, had it CopperCoated, just needs jetwash no antifouling each year, now 4 years old.

Great job, I’m wondering do you antifowl the transducer? I’m scared to put antifowl on my Garmin transducer in case it stopped working 😅

Yeah you can you can buy some transducer anti- foul. I didn’t put any on this time or the time before there is some you can buy. I think Force4 Chandlery does it

Better solution is to put in sliding transducer mount and slide transducer up out of water when berthed,
