We took delivery of a 175 in March as a retirement present to ourselves. A practical, rugged and speedy little boat which we are really enjoying. Have caught quite a few fish so far and will be exploring other areas for spear fishing soon.
One other thing I learnt fishing in shark infested waters around Brisbane, if you leave your outboard in neutral, so it just clicks around making a noise below the water, this will attract sharks, if you put your outboard in gear so it does not "click" below water, you will see less sharks.
I'm going to the Isle of Man in August for a wedding, been watching the channel for a while now, love all the videos from paragliding, to camping and boating. Would be great if I saw you in passing around Castletown and Port Erin 😂
A lot of nice work done by yourself on that tough little boat, hey when used for what they are meant the new one will get scuffed up & need the same TLC down the road anyway. Both very nice boats, yours has practical abilities the newer model may not have available on board as yet. You've built a great working sea horse. If your hull has integrity I personally would'nt bother changing it. Except for an alloy pontoon Stabicraft, maybe.
@@AirbornePirates Don't worry, Britain has been building good seaworthy boats for thousands of years. If you do ever get one, remember lead reacts with aluminum & salt, any tiny lead fishing weights or whatever left on deck will eat holes through your hull. This does not happen overnight, it takes a while, but it will happen.
Hi, enjoyed the video. I´d love to get a drone video like that of my boat (Quicksilver 530 Flamingo). I´ve made a few short poor quality videos with a very cheap drone, but nothing like yours!
Loving the videos fella. Was the postage bad for your A frame to the island? Was wondering about adding one for my coastworker so if you have the eBay seller name that would be great thanks bud.
@@AirbornePirates fantastic cheers yessir. Look forward to more videos and hopefully those elusive sharks! Can’t wait to be out there more meself through summer.
Could I ask what light bar you have in the front? What would you reccomend in the way of batteries ? Looking to rewire my setup now. Your videos are super helpful. Thank you
@@AirbornePirates can you use the protective tarp at sea? Or just for keeping the weather off it when docked? [Please excuse my shitty naval terminology!]
I just love these videos.......this is what life is all about. Awesome work buddy. 😊👍
Thanks Dean 🏴☠️🙌
its not "what you have got" its "what you do with what you have got". Enjoy your boat buddy - i wish to get one someday...

Lovely boat, the clarity of the water in the moorings is just lovely. Love the videos and seeing more of your beautiful island 🙏🙏👍👍

Put it in a dark shed at night and shine a torch through it.
Great video - enjoyed it 👍👍🙏
When will you take it out chumming? The sea temperatures are above average this year so that might make it better for sharks.
Next outing on the warrior I’m chumming 😬😬
@@AirbornePirates looking forward to the video!

Keep the old beast and get your first sail boat
You will see more whales and dolphins under sail than under motor
