I totally get the bookstore-magnetism problem! I physically cannot pass a bookstore without at least looking through the window and this then usually is followed by me entering. And who are we kidding, leaving a bookstore without a book is an impossibility..... :D On the other hand, there are worse addictions one could have ;)

10:55 Great advice about changing the order when you go to study. At the beginning of my studies I did the same thing: first the textbook and thousands of notes, now I do it the other way around. I save a lot more time, I am more efficient and I don't waste so much time on irrelevant details. By the way, CONGRATULATIONS girl! Greetings from Spain! Stay Safe!

I love these vlogs, i'm doing my International Relations degree and Elena's vids really motivate me to study more and work the best i can. Also, English is not my native language and i'm still learning, but for some reason her accent confuses me sometimes (i can understand her perfectly tho), it's just that sometimes she sounds more british and right in a few minutes after it's like more of an american accent, at least to me as an outsider (maybe i'm wrong tho). Anyways love you girl, keep doing your best as always Elena💙💙.

At least be proud of yourself that you start your new books the day you buy them! Mine usually end up sitting on my shelf for months 😂 I sent the clip to my mum to show that I am not the only one with this problem lol
As someone who goes to sleep at around 2am, I cannot imagine myself getting up at 4. I mean, I've done 5 and 6 before, and it was horrible. Couldn't do 4. To be fair, I have a lot of night classes and when I have only day classes, I usually don't get home until 7pm. And on days where I don't have classes, I work and I'm not usually home until 10-11pm, which explains why I need some time to relax, eat and read a little bit or start some scool work before going to bed.
I used to be a morning person and get up at 4:30/5 by my own choice - then I started working 6am morning shifts at the hospital and now I take every minute of sleep I can get 😅

Haha I loved going to the library - but I’m not comfortable studying all day with my mask on (I don’t mind it for a few hours, but it becomes a little uncomfortable after that) and so I’ve decided to mainly study in my room for now🤗

Empire of the Vampire is supposed to be a really good and darker take on vampires (like zombies) but I personally didn't enjoy the other books I read of the author so far... But I recently read Nightblood (after reading the first two books in 2016...) and it's such an underrated series!

edit: there’s also a really good audio version of TSOA on UA-cam, it can help when you have trouble remembering all the characters ;)
I cried at that book. Like I was so sad, I finished it at school- a mistake I can assure you. Currently reading Circe and I’m loving it so far!
