FIRST OFF....Of course I'm already subscribed 😎. I'm trying to see how this handsome man takes part in his kids’ lives, setting an example not only for them but for other men out there. Second of all, Madison's reaction had my rolling 💀😂. She could honestly have her own channel LOL. You did great! Keep practicing. In the meantime, the kids love the attention you give them.
Watching you with your daughter reminds me of my father, who has passed. I miss him so much that my bones ache. Cherish your time together....good job with the hair.
Natural hair, like any hair type, takes a lot of learning and practice, practice, and practice. Keep at it! You are doing so well. You will get better and better. This is a fun channel to watch! 😃
Madison is really good to sit while getting her hair done, her reaction, had me bent over laughing. It was a bit of a rough start, but over all, I think you did a fantastic job, big thumbs up on this one.
As a professional stylist I'm greatful your showing natural hair and how to properly style and take care of it. It was kinda sad that hair school never once touched on African American hair. It's beautiful and the possibilities are endless if you know what your doing. Thanks for the informative videos 🇨🇦
Hey Brother Ryan, you certainly get an A foe effort. Not to shabby finish BTW. As Lexa said earlier, the kids will remember that you spent/spend QUALITY time with them. That's the important thing!! Keep up the good work! I send you greetings from Chi town!!
Ryan, I love that you are taking the time to style Madison's hair. You did a great job with the 6 braids and 2 puffs. Lexi, you are a wonderful Mom. You and Ryan surely have made beautiful babies. I love your videos. You two make me laugh and smile. God Bless.
I applaud you for doing your daughter's natural hair. My husband never offered to help with our daughters hair because he was afraid of screwing it up and their hair texture is straight like his. So kudos to you.🤗🤗
Ryan, you did a great job, 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽considering you're a novice! Kudos for caring enough to want to try. Keep at it, practice makes perfect... Don't allow the amount of views to discourage you, keep going.
OMG! 😲 😱 😲 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 You are a good dad! God Bless You for styling your children's hair. Looks like it's a great help to your wife. It's alot of work. We don't let it get to us. 😊😇🥰😁☺🤗👍🏾
Ryan, thank u for creating this channel. Daddy & Maddy time is so special. When she gets older, these moments will stay with her forever. You are trying and that impressive. Just relax before you start, it’s hair...! Just be gentle and always ask her if she’s ok? She’s such a cutie and patient. I love her hair!
This was so cute. I figured it would take you two hours! You have to keep the hair wet to make it easy to manage and part. Use that spray bottle. Great job even if Madison didn’t like the style 😊She has a lot of hair! Baby Jordan is a cutie and growing so fast💗
Great job Dad keep up the good work show these fathers how its done you look pretty Madison I'm so happy she eventually liked it because you spent all that time. I know I have the same hair it's high maintenance.
Ryan you did a good job 👏🏾 and definitely have my respect. Not sure I would have even tried that style. Love the fact you even attempt doing/learning how to do your daughters hair. By the time You start on Jordan, you’ll be a Pro. 👍🏾😎🤗
Wow he just needs to keep on practicing and he will get it right ..it took him some time but he did good on her hair..practice makes sense when trying to learn something..
This is so awesome! You’re trying, the time you spend with each of them doing what seems like something small to some, they’ll treasure the moments forever. I highly recommend watching Christy Gior’s channel, she has a lot of great, extremely helpful information on how to care for different hair types. She was a foster parent and has adopted 5 children, 4 of them girls with different hair types.
Kudos to Brian and know the feeling...have two young sisters and I took care of them when they were babies and I had no clue what a braid was until I started doing their hair...keep up the good work and keep practicing... awesome job
You are definately getting better . I see you remember to tighten the pigtail by separating it at the end😎😎...I think maybe sekoras parts are neater cz she uses gel to slick down the fly aways and her parts are smaller than yours. Besides that , you nailed it Dad!!!
Late to the party but I too thought you did very well, especially for a first attempt. I looked at the style and thought: I don't know about this one but you proved me wrong😁😁 However, between your commentary, Alex's comments and Madison's "I don't like it"....the vid had me dying with laughter. On a serious note I think you really got some useful comments about braiding the hair. And as someone before me said, practice makes perfect and I believe you will get there.
Madison. Yes she is. But I think her patience had worn thin by the end.lol. Btw. New NBA season starting this week! What do you think of the Celtics this year?
Hey Ryan, did you try to do the spliting part with damped hair and leave-in conditioner? it may be easir to do it on one sitting or may be two. Also, once you separated her hair, try to keep it wet by either holding her hair with those crocodile pins or clips (I don't know the name in Spanish). Also, don't worry, our hair has a learning curve, I'm 38 and I'm still figuring out. Good luck with future hair styles
I conditioned and added leave in conditioner before. But I think I let her hair sit out too long before I tried to part it. You're right, I should have put her hair in clips, twists or bantu knots. Thanks for the comment and encouragement! I hope to get a bit better in each video!
Dad, you did an excellent job! Maybe gel the edges down next time, though. Years from now when Madison sees this video, she will love this daddy/daughter moment.

Thank you my love.
You know Madison is going to remember forever her Daddy doing her hair. MEMORIES. 🥰🥰🥰
Lol I hope she only remembers the positive memories!!😂😂😂
I still remember til this day my dad doing my hair when my mom wasn’t home and it just hits differently.. it’s been 10 years almost
She's going to really appreciate him as she grows up and fully understands ALL his efforts to learn how to care for her hair.
Thanks for the encouragement. Yes it is definitely taking a lot more practice than I had anticipated lol!
A+ for daddy’s trying not to mention how much he loves his kids 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Now you know what we go through on a daily basis to look and feel beautiful 😍
This style is very pretty. I love the way it looks with the ties near the scalp! Way to go Dad! ⚡
Your baby has a ton of hair. It's beautiful. And those kids are so patient. This cheers me up..
You are the man. This quality time with your daughter will stay with her for the rest of her life.
Madison is really good to sit while getting her hair done, her reaction, had me bent over laughing. It was a bit of a rough start, but over all, I think you did a fantastic job, big thumbs up on this one.
Thank you! She's awesome. I think she just ended up being so grumpy because I had her sitting for so long
I was going to say the same thing. That is one patient child.
Beautiful family. Great dad. Stay safe.

Great job daddy, so proud of you. Money cannot buy special moments like these. Keep up the great work. Blessings from England.
She is so patient and beautiful. You are such a great dad.
I applaud you for doing your daughter's natural hair.
My husband never offered to help with our daughters hair because he was afraid of screwing it up and their hair texture is straight like his.
So kudos to you.🤗🤗
Thanks! If I knew what I know now about caring for her hair I would have been scared too lol. Sometimes I can be over confident 🤣🤣🤣
Ryan, you did a great job, 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽considering you're a novice! Kudos for caring enough to want to try. Keep at it, practice makes perfect... Don't allow the amount of views to discourage you, keep going.
Thanks for the feedback! I hope with each style there is improvement! I'm going to keep learning and sharing more content!

This was so cute. I figured it would take you two hours! You have to keep the hair wet to make it easy to manage and part. Use that spray bottle. Great job even if Madison didn’t like the style 😊She has a lot of hair! Baby Jordan is a cutie and growing so fast💗
Thanks Carrol! I definitely needed that spray bottle. I also found sectioning and putting into twists helped keep it moist too!
Great job Dad keep up the good work show these fathers how its done you look pretty Madison I'm so happy she eventually liked it because you spent all that time. I know I have the same hair it's high maintenance.
I love your efforts and confidence. They are both hilarious and commendable.

Madison (Maddison?) is SO patient.
Madison. Yes she is. But I think her patience had worn thin by the end.lol.
Btw. New NBA season starting this week! What do you think of the Celtics this year?
@@DadStyles without the Kyrie drama I'm hoping the team chemistry will be better. still a bit early. Trying to be optimistic.
@@DOLfirst Yes it will be interesting to see how they work together and if the younger guys can step it up this year.
Awesome! My husband can’t do a sloppy ponytail lol

You took a minute or two longer than it should have but I think it came out pretty doggone good especially something that complex two 👍👍.
